I used the links as well as your strategy when I was bidding. I'm just trying to get some help and advice on what to do. I'm not sure if I'm not getting my bids accepted because of the MSG area?

Hi, I have friends who are staying at the New Yorker on 34th and 8th these days and I wanted to find a hotel close by. I bid upto $165 on 3.5 and $125 on a 3*. I'd like to stay in this general area, but am open to going a little bit further out. What do you recommend? I'd really like to not spend more than $150 a night if possible.

Started bidding at 110 and finally got accepted at $130.

Just bid $125 for a 3 star on the MTE from 9/23 - 9/24 and my first bid was accepted. Got the Millennium UN Plaza, from the reviews that I've read, it sounds like an excellent hotel. I can't wait to get there I love the city!!

Started bidding at $85 at $5 increments until 105 got accepted! Can't wait to go to the Russian Vodka Room!! :) From the reviews, The Hotel doesn't seem like that bad of a place! Has anyone stayed there? I'll keep you guys posted! Luke

Taking my girlfriend for a weekend away, any ideas of good places to go? We enjoy the bar/club scene, as well as festivals and things of that nature... Any help would be appreciated.
