  1. This is in Canadian $$s. Amenities were: Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Roll-in shower
  2. Previously I have always been successful on Priceline but not this time. This is not a huge discount over the hotel website but it is a bit better. Satisfied but not ecstatic. Total for three nights $cdn 629.27
  3. Did I not link to PRICELINE correctly? I thought I had. If wrong, can you clarify where on your website I should have linked from. Thanks.
  4. As always, info from this forum was great. Targeted the hotel of interest first bid.
  5. I did link from your site so hopefully I did it correctly. I used the "Quickquote" PRICELINE link at the top of the screen. Was this correct?
  6. Very pleased with this. Total is $107.24. It was my first bid based on reviewing recent bids. Was hoping not to get the Bayshore just because it is further from downtown so this is ideal.
  7. Successful with a bid of $180 for 1 nite. We have stayed here before and it is a great location. Linked to PRICELINE through this site.
  8. I am delighted that we were successful in getting the W for $91. Previously had $86 rejected with an ok to bid again for an increment of $20. Decided to be patient. Reviews seem great so it will be a really nice end after we disembark from a Transatlantic cruise. Linked to PRICELINE from Betterbidding.
  9. Was successful today at $58. I did use the PRICELINE link from BetterBidding!
  10. So far I have been unsucessful in getting the Ramada in Prince George. Latest rejected bid was $55 which did work for another poster in August so I thought it should be good enough for October. Yesterday they countered at $61 but today it was $70 so definitely going the wrong way!
  11. Failed at $80 but am happy with the $90. It is exactly 50% of what I could get on their website. When I bid yesterday I linked through this site but I just realised that when I went back in today I linked off the Proceline email. Sorry.
  12. I bid $128 yesterday and received an offer to rebid if I added $22 which would have been $150. I declined. Today I bid $135 and it was accepted for the two nights so I am very happy. Last year we stayed at the College St Marriott which is the 4* so we will be interested in what the extra star provides. I linked to PRICELINE from this site.
  13. Winning bid was $56 for the Sheraton Skyline. I am pleased wit this although it was accepted on the first bid so I was probably a bit generous. Recently stayed at the Sheraton Heathrow and was not pleased as I see it as a 3* hotel.
  14. I was successful for the Hilton Seattle Airport And Conference Center 17620 International Boulevard Seattle, WA 98188 206-244-4800 Check-In: Tuesday, February 10, 2009-03:00 PM Check-Out: Wednesday, February 11, 2009-01:00 PM Summary of Charges Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $51.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $14.81 (USD) Total Room Cost: $65.81 (USD) I had previously tried $46 but was unsuccessful. I am very pleased with this result.
  15. Success at $163. I am happy with this as the least expensive room on the website was $320.
  16. Tried $150 and it came back with a counter to add $25. Decided to try again tomorrow.
  17. Thanks. I will wait out the 24hrs again. Also thanks for the reminder re the links.
  18. I have bid on successive days $130 and $140 for November 20 -22 in Sydney with no success. I don't see a way to get around the 24 hour wait. While the list of hotels on thjis site does not have any 2* hotels in this area and have been unable to prove there aren'tany in Priceline. I may be doing something wrong.
  19. Tried again with a new series of bids, $122, $126 and finally $130. This was accepted for the Marriott San Diego Hotel and Marina. Total charges $153.11. I think this is a pretty successful bid, as $250 seems to be the cheapest rate I found on the web. Thanks for the advice.
  20. The alternative is $149 which includes the airport shuttle. So when I take off the Priceline fee I am looking at about $129. I have some reservations that in the 4* group there appear to be properties that may be more 3* ish and teh Sheraton is in a less convenient location. So I am still pondering.
  21. Bids made July 28, rejected up to $118 for Sept 28. I made 5 bids adding zones with no 4* hotels, staring at $95. Today I bid again $118 and it was again rejected. Obviously I am not in the right price zone for that period. I did get an email offering an instant rebid if I added $22 but I have ignored that as it is too rich. Not sure if I will try again as I can get a very convenient hotel for $149 with no booking fee, so I am approaching the limit.
