  1. We booked the Holiday Inn Downtown through Hotwire at around 5:30pm for the same night. Amenities listed were fitness center and pool. The wireless in the room is great. They also credited our Priority Club membership for the two nights. There are super nice folks at the desk as well. We are very pleased to have gotten this hotel!
  2. Got this one for $33 ($45.97 with tax and fees). I bid for a 2.5* but got "upgraded" to this. We were actually hoping for a 2.5* place since this one has gotten such mediocre reviews. We'll see how it turns out...
  3. For the second night of our tour of the Triangle area, we got a room in Crabtree at the Holiday Inn for $41. The room is ok (on the wireless network there now), but feels cheaper than the Hilton Garden Inn (Airport RDU) (also Priceline 3*) where we stayed last night. No microwave, refrigerator, or indoor pool here as the Hilton had. Also of note, I felt treated a bit second class here because of the priceline reservation. We were given a room with a view of the air conditioning units and the receptionist who checked us in seemed put out by doing so. At the Hilton, there was excellent customer service and I felt treated as a valued customer.
  4. Just booked Holiday Inn Crabtree for $41 (total of $55.28 with fees). First attempt for Cary South 3* for $40 was rejected. We added Crabtree and bid $41 which was accepted.
  5. Thanks! We are at the hotel now - on the free wireless network. :) The room is great and everyone has been so friendly to us so far. We are very happy with our stay here!
  6. Just won one night at Hilton Garden Inn Raleigh-Durham Airport 3* for $38 ($51.78 with tax and fees).
