Bidding 17th - 22th march , midtown west and time square for 4 star hotel 160$ still rejected, usually people wins 110$ for 2 weeks before at the same zone.

it doesnt worth to bid to cleveland for 4 star and less star hotel, i have been trying for a month , what i noticed is, it will force you to bid on 3.5 and then you will get the same price as it appears on the wepsite. At least if you pay couple dollar more, you can select your own hotel.

I have been trying to get a 3.5 - 4 star hotel at cleveland downtown area for 2 weeks. These are the lowest hotel prices on priceline for a 4 star hotel 135$ hayat arcade, 100$ for 3.5 star hotel embassy at cleveland downtown area. And these are my latest bids, 90$+tax for 4 star hotel at cleveland downtown. 65$+tax for 3.5 star hotel at cleveland downtown. As a result still rejected.<Its almost 2 month advance and why are the prices are so expensive? Are the prices higher than usual due to christmas time or priceline is not cheap as used to be ? I dont think its not a good idea to higher the bid to save 15$ , at least if i get on my own i can choose the hotel and get a full refund for cancelation.
