  1. I just wanted to post a follow-up after the lovely weekend we had in Chicago. The Westin was very nice and the location was great as well. This was my first Hotwire experience, but thanks to the help and advice from this forum, it won't be my last.
  2. Yes. $110.00 per night x 2 night(s): $220.00 Hotel Taxes and fees: $37.95 Hotel Subtotal: $257.95 Additional Savings: $20.00 Total Price: $237.95 I'm happy. :)
  3. I ended up going with the deal from this thread: Chicago Hotwire Westin
  4. I jumped on the 4* deal through Hotwire with the 'GIFTCARD06' code: Not the Hyatt, but looks good. Thanks to thereuare for the tips.
  5. Tried again today with no luck...still have time to keep playing NMA $85 + Skokie $90 + Midway $95 Loop $85 + Skokie $90 + Midway $95 NMA + Loop $95 + Skokie $100 + Loop+ Midway $105
  6. No luck with above bidding plan today. I'll keep trying for a couple more weeks. Thanks.
  7. $85 isn't a max per se, but I don't want to hit $100 if I don' t have to. I wonder why rates are higher at that time? If need be, I can go over $100.
  8. I love all of the information on this valuable site. I read through bidding advice and tried for the following 4* hotels on Priceline: 1. Loop @ $75 2. Loop+NMA @ $80 3. Loop+NMA+Skokie @ $85 Are these reasonable prices? Any suggestions for the best possible 4* rate in the NMA or Loop areas would be appreciated. Would I have better luck closer to 8/26?
