  1. Thanks for the info - I must be getting close to a successful bid!
  2. You have to pay what you have to pay. Two years ago you could get resorts in Waikiki for < $90, but not right now. The prices now are running quite high - I've been bidding up to the $170 range per night for Resort Waikiki and still no success. I think I'm getting close however... As was mentioned - you may need to bid closer to your check-in date...
  3. Thanks for the update! Yes - there is no guarantee when it comes to bidding on anything! I'm likely too cheap - but I'm willing to wait a bit before getting worried. I appreciate your post - it lets me (and others!) know where the successful bids are! Rob
  4. Just one bid? Or did you start lower and add zones? I've been trying for Oahu in early December (Resort and 4*) - but my highest bids are about $40 lower than this (including any bonus cash)... I'm not likely going to get too aggressive with my bidding until the last 3-4 weeks.
  5. I was having problems with Firefox and switched to Chrome - but I forgot to re-use the PRICELINE link! I'll try to use it next time... I've been bidding for several days - 3* and 3.5* in Fisherman's Wharf and Financial District. No success up to $109 (3*) and $194 (3.5*), but won this morning with the first bid of $104 ($95+$9 bonus). I thought the chance of success might be better as it was less than two weeks to the stay. I suspect if I was more patient - the deal could have been better - but the rates seem high for our dates... I'm happy to have a place to stay (in the area we wanted!) for under $100.
