  1. With taxes it turned out to be $139.19, so a little less than $70 per room. There is a $10 resort fee to look forward to as well. I saw it listed later on Priceline as a 2*, unfortunately, but hopefully it is still nice. Booking just a couple of weeks before the trip, for a weekend night, it seemed like a decent deal.
  2. I had seen this listing fluctuate between $108 and $112 in the past few days. I know it's not ideal to be booking a trip only a couple weeks prior, but it was a last minute thing, and the booking is for a Saturday night, so I didn't expect a fantastic deal. A few days earlier I bid on a 3* and got Circus Circus, so I was a little surprised that this one was not directly on the Strip. It's not far, but I was still expecting something right on the Strip, given there's no way to be more specific/close than by choosing The Strip North and The Strip South map areas. Still, it seems like an OK place. The total with taxes was $139, and I have to pay a $20 resort fee, sadly, but that also appears to be the norm everywhere.
  3. Not happy with this four-star hotel: I wouldn't mind the fact that it's five minutes to the train station and another 10-15 minutes to get to the center of town so much, however combined with the fact that the amenities listed on the before page differed from those I discovered when I actually booked (before I booked there was no mention of free parking, a common listing which would have tipped me off about its suburban location), and the fact that this isn't much of a deal at all--I found it for $90 on other sites--it left a bad taste in my mouth. It is a four-star hotel with these amenities: Fitness Center Business Center High-Speed Internet Access In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll-in shower
  4. Happy to get this property like everyone else.
  5. I was happy to get this ideally located hotel on my first try, using the above PRICELINE link, thanks to the information others had provided on this forum. Next up: booking our nights in Munich, Cologne and Hamburg. Hope our luck continues. Thanks!
  6. Got this on my first try, using the PRICELINE link above. Thanks!
  7. I don't know why the title of the post is showing 4.5 stars, thought I clicked the 'Resort' label. Sorry for the confusion, I definitely bid for it at the resort level
  8. Using Priceline, I was able to get the Honolulu Modern by bidding $105 a night for a resort-level hotel in the Wakiki Marina area. Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $105.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Guests Per Room: 2 Number of Nights: 2 Room Subtotal: $210.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $39.78 (USD) Total Room Cost: $249.78 (USD) All in all, a good deal I think!
  9. We won this property on the first bid with $105 a night for seven nights 12/10/11-12/17/11 (Saturday to Saturday). The room subtotal was $735.00, and with the additional Taxes & Fees of $118.93, it came to a total of $853.93. I'm expecting to pay approximately $50 per day extra when we arrive, for the resort fee and parking charge. I love this website--it is so helpful! I definitely plan to use it for all my trips in the future!
