  1. I wanted to share my NYOP : First try Quincy with 3.5*@ 51$, refused, Quincy 3* @ 55$, refused then 2 hours later bidded again with only Dedham with 3.5* 55$, refused Dedham with 3* @ 59$ refused Added Brookline with 3* @59$, accepted! Was a surprise, wasn't expecting such a deal. It is listed 127$ US on booking.com and while I go back to PRICELINE it says I could book again with an offer -56% from 149 to 65$. Parking cost 35$ but lots of street parking in the weekend. It is in the middle of downtown (20min) and close to where I want to go. Guest score is 94% and I want to add that express deal wasn't available for this hotel with this guest score and the Priceline hotel list didn't have this hotel listed. Not sure it would help but the Amenities are: Free Breakfast Free Internet (in Room) Indoor Pool Non-Smoking Gym Business Center
  2. express deal for 107$ for a 4* in Place Rogier, booked on sunday May 19th. with 5% code, it comes to 115$ per room, tax in. we knew it was this hotel and price were going up. it is now 123$ for the same express deal. it was 130$ on Expedia.ca and other websites. good reviews on tripadvisor amenities are Indoor or Outdoor Pool Pets Allowed Restaurant Business Center Fitness Center
  3. yeah i guess so too thank you thereuare i'll let you know what is my final choice
  4. i am making my mind on a 3* property in Grand Place, Brussels hotwire shows no amenities for dates june 11 to 12th 4.5 /5 rating on Tripadvisor 3* while i am not totally sure, 4.5 /5 of rating are hotels that are top 50 in Brussels. thank you!
  5. thank you im still thinking if i am getting another area (place rogier) as I am leaving for Bruges the next day this area might be closer for the train station (gare du nord)
  6. Oops I forgot june 11th to june 12nd, 2013 thank you !
  7. I would like to identify an hotel in Brussels for one night stay. don't see any 3.5* in Brussels Central Area (Grand Place) hotwire 3.5* for 93$ USD on the hotwire hotel list thread, 3.5 star gives Hilton Brussels or Eurostar but Hilton is listed as a 4* on Hotwire. amenities Free Breakfast, Fitness Center, Restaurant(s), Business Center, Laundry Facilities (self-service) thank you!
  8. amenities are Pet friendly Smoke Free Rooms Restaurant(s) Laundry Facilities (self-service) rated 7.7/10 on PRICELINE mentions free internet on priceline but on hotwire, it is mentioned Wireless internet with a surcharge. no star is shown for this hotel on priceline priceline hotel de castillion link
  9. First time in paris and will join my girlfriend one day after. wanted a place to sleep with my own room and bathroom. did not want a hostel or be in an unsafe area so I tried priceline for a week with 2 to 4 * ranging from 60 to 95$ with no success in every zone inside Paris Center (including Montmartre and Montparnasse which I said it will be fine as long as the price was right). So I excluded la defense, airport or gare du nord Saw hotwire for 110$ for a 2* near Galeries Lafayette, which is perfect in location. (passage jouffroy is next door and has some of the best croissant I read through reviews(flaky and buttery) so 111$ + tax, came to 127$ CAD (or 123 $ USD) free breakfast (dont expect much) free internet (a major plus) since Expedia hotel at this price range didn't include internet and was closer to Montmartre too. Expedia has this hotel for 145$ + tax the same hotel was available on priceline express deal as well for the same price because it was unavailable right after I purchased on Hotwire Quite satisfied with the hotel but don't remember paying a 2* for 100$+ (in North America, I'm from Canada).
  10. Priceline has no express deals for Bruges and 100$ was too low for Bruges for these dates as well Hotwire had offers for a 4* for 95$ CAD. so picked it up and from the priceline hotel list, I thought it would be Crowne Plaza or NH Brugge that had better reviews. This hotel has mixed reviews but location is great. Expedia has the same hotel for 118$ CAD. so I didn't save much. happy but not too happy about it.
  11. very happy for the bid Attempt of 55, was offered 68 instead to get a room. Knowing that there s a room but that priceline wants a % put 7$ ( 50 % of the difference) and won bid st 62 Expedia is having the hotel for 130$ its on the way to nyc after woodbury outlet shopping :) We are saving on hotel and Parking which is nice Hope there is no extra whatsoever charges
  12. Very surprised that my bid was accepted, It was my first bid attempt for nyc should have tried midtown west first but might probably not have the winning bid Expedia is showing around 290+taxes Its about a third of the 'market value' The stay is for 1 night only, on a Sunday. This is probably why Very happy Thank you Priceline
  13. Bid for 56$ 2.5 * with a MC won bid for a 3* at Delta Markham (priceline at 112$ US, Expedia at 110$) previously tried with an Amex, 3* for 60$, and it didn't work so weird and location is perfect for me (highway 7) very happy with the bid Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Guests Per Room: 2 Number of Nights: 1 Room Subtotal: $56.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $15.05 (USD) Total Room Cost: $71.05 (USD)
