  1. Won the Rodd Moncton Hotel (is this a new one on this site) for $80. Used the PRICELINE link
  2. Won the above hotel at $71, last failed bid was $70. Used the PRICELINE link.
  3. Won the Doubletree in Worthington (Columbus) Ohio for $59. Last failed bid was $57. Funny, a couple days earlier had bid all the way up to $68 with no luck for the exact same dates, star level, and zone. Used PRICELINE link.
  4. Parking in just about all DC hotels in the downtown zones is very expensive. Not sure if you're willing to park your car away from the hotel. If you are, there is a 24 hr parking garage about 2 blocks south of where your hotel is. Address is 1725 Desales St NW #200, Washington, DC 20036. It will cost about half of what your hotel is charging.
  5. Won the Courtyard by Marriott in DC. Last failed bid was $90. Used the PRICELINE link.
  6. Won the Marriott Inner Harbor at Camden Yards. Last failed bid was $67. Used the PRICELINE link
  7. Won the Marriott Marquis in downtown Atlanta for $64. Last failed bid was $62. Used PRICELINE link
  8. Can someone please confirm whether this hotel is in the Columbus "North" zone or the Columbus "Worthington - Polaris - Westerville" zone. The title of this thread says "North" but the location of this hotel seems to be in the "Worthington - Polaris - Westerville" zone. Would greatly appreciate it if someone can help out, looking to bid in this area. Thanks.
  9. Won the Crown Plaza in Independence Ohio for $67. Last failed bid was $65. Have stayed here before, good hotel. Used PRICELINE link.
  10. Won the Hyatt Regency in downtown St. Louis. Last failed bid was $44 (lots of rebid options here). Total 3 nights: $$135 + $30.81(taxes/fees) = $165.81
  11. Won the Crown Plaza in Independence. Last failed bid was $58. Total for 2 nights: $120.00 + $27.80(taxes/fees) = $147.80
  12. Feb 10 - 12 is during Winterlude in Ottawa. Hotels get very busy during this time. Feb 10-12 is the second weekend of Winterlude. For a 3.5 star you are probably looking at the $95-$100 range and for the 4 star Marriott probably $105 and up.
  13. Note that as of Feb 1st, 2012 this hotel is now called The National Hotel & Suites. By the way, an absolutely wonderful hotel, no complaints whatsoever.
  14. Won the Delta Hotel & Suites. Last failed bid was $84. Used the PRICELINE link.
  15. Booked the Hyatt Regency Montreal (1255 Jeanne-Mance) for this upcoming weekend. Failed at $85, was given a counter-offer of $98 but ignored it, re-bid at $88 and got it. Used the PRICELINE link.
  16. Started at $35 and bid incrementally up. At $45 received a counter-offer for $60, I ignored this and bid $47, once again I received a counter-offer. I figured I was real close so I added $1...and got it. Room Subtotal: $96.00 Taxes & Fees: $24.18 Total: $120.18 Used the PRICELINE link
  17. Isn't this Crowne Plaza North on Doubletree Avenue? That would put it in the "Worthington - Polaris - Westerville" area. I believe this one comes up often in that area. I don't think there is a Crowne Plaza North in the "North" area on Priceline. Am I wrong?
  18. After many days of bidding and rebidding for a 4* in the Downtown area or a 3.5* in the Riverfront-Covington area and bidding up to $85 without success (prices seemed much higher than normal for these days), I decided to lower my expectations to a 3* in the Riverfront-Covington area and finally got the Radisson at $62. Last failed bid before $62 was $60 Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $62.00 Subtotal: $124.00 Taxes & Fees: $27.02 Total Charges*: $151.02 Used PRICELINE link as always.
  19. Started at $40 and incrementally bid up, got it at $57. Used the PRICELINE link. Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $57.00 Subtotal: $114.00 Taxes & Fees: $27.30 Total Charges*: $141.30
  20. Tried to book a room in Times Square at the last minute (literally the night before). Prices seemed very high. Started at $160 for a 4* and bid incrementally up by $10 until bid was finally accepted at $270. One of the highest prices I've seen show up on here for a 4* in NYC. This was for a business trip with company paying, figured I'd use Priceline to save them a little bit of money. Rates directly from the Hotel for those nights were around $399. Used the PRICELINE link. Crowne Plaza Times Square Manhattan Times Square - Theatre District 1605 Broadway And 49th New York, New York 10019 Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $270.00 Subtotal: $1,350.00 Taxes & Fees: $273.00 Total Charges*: $1,623.00
  21. After multiple bids and many days, finally got the Bulfinch Hotel at $95. Not sure why but the rates on these days were particularly high compared to other days in June. Used the PRICELINE link (many times) Bulfinch Hotel 3 Star Quincy Market - Faneuil Hall - Financial 107 Merrimac Street Boston, Massachusetts 02114 Check-In Date: Thu, Jun 17, 2010 Check-Out Date: Mon, Jun 21, 2010 Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $95.00 Subtotal: $380.00 Taxes & Fees: $66.88 Total Charges*: $446.88
  22. Was looking for 5 nights: Bid $50, rejected Added Lawndale zone, Bid $60, rejected Waited 24 hours, bid $65, accepted Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $65.00 Subtotal: $325.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $56.42 Total Charges*: $381.42 Used PRICELINE link on this site.
  23. Hyatt Regency Montreal Montreal 1255 Jeanne Mance Street Montreal, Quebec H5B 1E5 Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: US$60.00 Subtotal: US$120.00 Taxes & Service Fees: US$28.04 Total Charges: US$148.04 Originally bid $55, wasn't accepted, but was counter-offered $70. Re-bid $60 and was not accepted again. This is kinda weird but went back the next day and bid $65 only to have a message come up saying that I had a successful bid already for these days in this city. Not sure what had happened, so I went to the "check your request" page and clicked the link and sure enough it showed up as a successful bid. So first it was not accepted and then somehow it was, no idea why this happend. First time this has happend to me. By the way, noticed that previous wins on here show this as 3*, but this came up as a 3.5* for me (they "upgraded" me)
  24.
