  7. This is a great hotel. We stayed here for two months in the fall of 2010. The staff is exceptional. They remembered us by name and always treated us well. Lisa, Tiffany, and Jan at the front desk were awesome. The rooms are spacious and neutrally decorated. All the rooms have patios with a small table and chairs. The rooms were upgraded with flat screen TVs in 2010. Our rooms had refrigerators, and you could "rent" a microwave for $10/ day. The beds and linens were very comfortable. There is also a small fitness room and small laundry room on the first floor. Plenty of parking and free internet. The hotel is located less than a block away from the Fiesta Mall. There are restaurants and banks within easy walking distance. Unfortunately, we have not been back since 2010. We use Priceline (Name Your Own Price) for all of our hotel stays. There is one particular hotel in the East Mesa zone that is a horrible place to stay (Holiday Inn on Country Club and US60). After our time at the Courtyard, we got stuck with the Holiday Inn. Our first room had ants in the bathroom and bedroom. Our second room had carpet and curtains stained with what appeared to be motor oil. It was gross. The other rooms there have been no better. Due to the fact that the Holiday Inn is considered a 3-star hotel (obviously for amenities only), we no longer select the East Mesa zone. If you are lucky enough to get the Mesa Courtyard, have a great stay! We did.
  8. First bid of $35 rejected. Second bid of $40 was accepted. Did not change star level, just added a zone. (Was not sure how high I would have to go due to the All-Star game this week). $40 still a great deal. We always have a comfortable stay at this hotel. Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $40.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 3 Room Subtotal: $120.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $25.59 (USD) Total Room Cost: $145.59 (USD)
  9. I have also stayed here (through Priceline Name Your Own Price). We were upgraded to a suite in the back of the property. The bed was super comfortable. The rooms were clean. The suites have little enclosed patios in the back, however you cannot access them. There are mini-jacuzzis on the patio that are no longer used, so for safety reasons they have locked the patios. I believe most negative reviews come from the age of the resort, and the lack of updating. You also have to be prepared for a hike to your room. The grounds are huge. Overall, it is a nice, quiet place to stay.
  10. Starting bid of $35 in the Chandler/ Gilbert zone was accepted. (Have stayed at this hotel several times in the past year, so I knew exactly what to bid). Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $35.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 3 Room Subtotal: $105.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $23.28 (USD) Total Room Cost: $128.28 (USD) Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Good location- Right by I-10 and the 202.
