  1. I fully agree. Without a doubt, I got a good deal on a very nice hotel. It may not have been the "best" deal, but that's okay. Now that I'm more aware of how the bidding process works, I can definitely try to do better the next time around!

So I didn't do as well as some others on this board (see below for explanation), but I figured I'd chime in with my results: Bid $120 for 3.5* in Copley, Brighton - Brookline, Harbor Front-Aquarium, Waterfront - Convention Center : Fail Got the message about increasing my bid to $150. Tried to re-bid at $130 (without changing any options), but the system wouldn't let me. Re-bid at $150 and got the Boston Back Bay Hotel. *** I clearly should have visited this site before I started bidding. It seems that the better strategy would have been to only pick one area that had 3.5* hotels, and then slowly add other areas as I re-bid. I also would have learned about the "up your bid to $150" trick that everyone else seems to have gotten. For future knowledge!
