  1. Used your PRICELINE link to get a mid-sized car for 7 days from LAX. Was going to bid, but liked that the location was in-terminal as we are getting in late. Budget Mid-Size 7 Days March 24-31 total w/tax 189.90 approx 20.61/day

  3. Completed my reply to Iowa City. Yes, my plans are firm as I will be coming in from Parry Sound on my way back to Chicago on 8/2.
  4. We decided not to go during Parent's weekend and went another weekend where we stayed on campus at the Iowa House for $65 a night.

  8. I had no luck and so we are rethinking the October trip. May try again over the summer.
  9. I would like to get a hotel 3* or greater for the nights of July 31 and August 1. Since there are now so many 3* zones I have tried bidding at 4* and then 3.5* with no luck. I have begun my bidding at 60 and gone up through 85. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

  11. Actually the 2* for this area has some better amenities, i.e. parking and breakfast. In my initial post I was trying to be flexible because parent's weekend for the University of Iowa. The least expensive 2* or better for this trip is preferred with a cap on $100 per night. Thanks! P.S. I the Chicago thread with my winning bid.

Not sure where to follow through with this thread, but I ended up going through Priceline (through your link) and getting the Comfort Inn in Coralville, IA 2* for $50 which includes breakfast as the price on Hotwire had gone up. This property and price are fine as we will be getting in late and checking out early. Thanks for your assistance.
