Thanks for replying. We don't need to stay in this specific zone, I was just thinking it might be easier to be near all the sites. We might be able to walk to some of them. Since this is our first time to DC I'm not sure the best place to stay. Obviously a place near a Metro station is a must. The only problem with the hotel you suggested is that it doesn't have a pool and with 2 kids a pool is a must. I was also looking at the Bethesda - Chevy Chase area for $82. I think that is the Hyatt Regency Bethesda. Here is all the amenities for the 3.5* site. Thanks for any help!
