As mentioned in other posts, it would be either Bellagio or the Aria, turned out to be the Aria. Assuming we will get a double queen room?

Started bidding yesterday at $65.- for a 3 * . Went up to $70.- and got counteroffer for $83.- Tried again today, started at $71, got counteroffer for $83.-again. Went to $75.- and got accepted. Sheraton Old San Juan, 3.5 *. Used HOTWIRE and PRICELINE links from this page to check prices and bid.

Don't know what would have happened in Hotwire, used Priceline and ended up with Omni Championsgate at $72.- I think would have been same on Hotwire? But I suppose you can't be sure.

I saw a 4.5* resort in Maingate - Celebration on HOTWIRE for $79.-, tried to go after it on PRICELINE with this result. Wasn't sure if it was Gaylord Palms or Omni, turned out to be Omni. I'm happy with it, looking forward to the lazy river. Started with $66.- added zone for rebid $70.- got counteroffer for $20.- more Went up to $72.- and got it. Used BB HOTWIRE and PRICELINE links. I saw this somewhere for $65, started at $60 + $5 bonus cash in Sawgrass mills, rebid a few times 1 dollar extra, added Plantation, Hollywood and downtown, got accepted at $$63 + $5 bonus cash. It should work out ok, looks like a nice place, close to Sawgrass Mills Mall. Used the PRICELINE links on top of the page.

Bid up to $57.- same dates, 3.5*, Lake Buena Vista, Seaworld - Idrive, Maingate Celebration, Florida Mall and Kissimee. Nothing yet.

I'll stick it out another week or so, I think it just might be too early.

It depends on the star level, for the 3.5 star in Orlando, maybe would go up to $60.- A 4 * or resort maybe a little more. If you're Dutch you don't pay much. I saw the Rosen Inn that was mentioned in another post on Kayak for $56,- but rated as a 3 star. I'm thinking on booking that with a refundable reservation as a back up.

I was going back looking at last year's accepted bids, there weren't much before end of June.

Looks like a nice place, tried to get the same deal for July 20 -23 but no luck.
