  1. Listed as 2 Star "New to Hotwire Hotel in the Kailua-Kona" Area. I was pretty positive this was the Kona Seaside based on the guest approval ratings. My dread was getting Uncle Billy's.

I've stayed here before and it was perfectly pleasant. It's for one night before driving to Hilo. Now to look for a resort when we come back to Kona on the 28th! ;)

  2. Looks like several folks are winning Marriott Rive Gauche (4* Latin Quarter) within your budget, but I'm not sure if that's the price you'll get for October. You have plenty of time to rebid if you aren't finding what you like.

If you already know that you are willing to forgo the charm, there seem to be many affordable hotels in the Latin Quarter. Good Luck.

  3. Hi,

Interested in any input on bidding strategy for hotels:

    • Paris
    • April 1-7, 2011.
    • Max of about $200/night (roughly 145Euro),
    • As centrally located as possible. In terms of Priceline zones, I believe this would be zones 2, 3, 4, 6 & 7.

I always seem to love places highly rated by tripadvisor, but I don't think it's possible to aim for a group of hotels in that fashion.

(Not sure if I should repost this on hotwire forum or not?)

    Thanks!
