  1. Hi all,

My usual search for good deals once again finds me at Better Bidding.

I'm getting a Hotwire return of a 5 star property for $100 Sunday night April 1 (so much the fool I)

Amenities listed: Spa, Resort, Smoke Free Room

Under see all I get: Spa, Fitness, High Speed Internet, Resort, Pool, Smoke Free Room, Kitchenette, Restaurant

Any way to tell if that's the Wynn/Encore v Venetian/Palazzo? I'm getting what I think is Caesars for the same price, basically ($98).

I'll book through the better bidding links and thanks, as ever.

  2. Hi--

Huh. that's weird. It did change.

Now on the North Strip 5* I see $108 with:

Casino, Pools, Restaurants, Business Center, High Speed Internet, Golf Nearby, Tennis Nearby, Spa

On the South Strip 4.5* I new see $102 with:

Resort, Suite, Casino, Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, High Speed Internet, Golf Nearby, Tennis Nearby, Spa

Does that help any? I wish I knew what the North/Northwest one was.

    Thanks for your help.

  3. Thanks to this board, we're just back from a nice couple of days at the Green Valley Ranch. I need to do another stop over in Las Vegas August 8th (one night).

I'm asking for help again. I'm getting the following properties on my search:

4* North and Northwest of Las Vegas ($47)

Casino, Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, High Speed Internet, Golf Nearby

    (no clue what this is)

    4.5* Strip South ($104)

Resort, Suite, Casino, Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurants, Business Center, High Speed Internet, Golf Nearby

    (TheHotel, yes?)

    4.5* Strip North ($119)

Casino, Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurants, Business Center, High Speed Internet, Tennis Nearby, Spa

    (Caesars?)

    5* North Strip ($110)

Bed Choice, Casino, Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, High Speed Internet, Golf Nearby, Tennis nearby

(I'm guessing this is Venetian, Palazzo, Encore, or Wynn, yes?)

Any help on this and which seems the best deal much appreciated. I'll book using your links and thanks!

  4. Well, I'm clearly such a newbie to Priceline that I ended up with a less than great outcome.

I wanted Fisherman's Wharf or Embarcadero for 3/10-13. I tried 4* and 3.5* at rates from $80-115. All rejected.

I then tried again, Fisherman's Wharf only for $100 and went down to 3*. I got the Holiday Inn, which I did not want at all (and it matched their own rate when I checked). So now, I'm stuck with a hotel I don't want at a rate that's not great.

Live and learn I guess. :)

I did use the forum link. :)
