I was bidding $40 hoping to get the SpringHill Suites in West Peoria. First bid was rejected, and was asked to raise bid by $12. I did, and got this hotel on 6/28/09-6/29/09. Looks to be near a new shopping center.
Just got back from my stay at this hotel. It was formerly known as the Doubletree Suites perimeter. I realized this because I had stayed here when it was the Doubletree, and also because there was still Doubletree info in the hotel information books.
The rooms are nice and large. Each room has 2 32" Philips plasma TVs, a very comfy couch that pulls out into a bed, wet bar with mini fridge and microwave, full sized tub and a shower stall. There are both wireless internet and hard connections.
The room I was in was a family suite. It had a king sized bed in the bedroom, and a pull down bed in the open area. The beds were very confortable. There was even a book by Conrad Hilton in the nightstand.
This is a great hotel, and I'd reccomed it to anyone!

Got it on Hotwire for $72. This is a great hotel, and I've stayed there may times before. Just nice to not pay the typical $130 pricetag.

Got the Sheraton Four Points in Fairview Heights, IL (St. Louis Suburb) on Priceline for $45. It's in the 3 star category. two rooms. Check in date is 6/26-6/27. used the PRICELINE links here to keep a good thing going.
