Studio with fully-equipped kitchen accommodated our family well for our vacation. Not fancy, but meet our needs. Appreciated the pocket door to divide the studio between the sleeping area and the living room/kitchen. Condos are adjacent to shopping, dining, and free Snowmass shuttle to Aspen where we shopped and then took a free Aspen Shuttle to the Hunter Village trailhead and hiked along a mountain stream. At check-in we were advised that the outdoor pool/hot tub at Lichenhearth were not available due to maintenance so we were given access to the outdoor pool and hot tubs across the street. That was a real treat after a day of strenuous hiking. Overall, a positive experience.
Amenities: Airport Shuttle, Pool(s), Laundry Facilities, Golf Nearby, Tennis Nearby
Our stay at Lichenhearth Condominiums was booked through Hotwire at a "Hotwire hot Rate." The amenities shown before booking were: Airport Shuttle, Pool(s), Laundry Facilities, Golf Nearby, Tennis Nearby.
It turned out to be a fully equipped studio which accommodated our family well for our vacation. Condo adjacent to shopping, dining, and free shuttle to Aspen as well as airport. Given access to pool/hot tubs across the street during maintenance of onsite pool/hot tub. That was a real treat after a day of strenuous hiking. Overall, a positive experience.
This was booked through HOTWIRE.
August 3rd booked 3* Lichenhearth Condominiums - Studios in Snowmass Village, CO, for three nights 8/9-8/12/2010. Equipped with full kitchen. Understand that the pool and hot tub are not available, but still expect to have a fine time hiking and fishing in the areas around Snowmass Village which is near Aspen, CO. Near highly photographed Maroon Bells.
Thanks for your interest and request for clarification about what I posted regarding my winning bid. Here is exactly what is listed in my winning bid confirmation page:
Silver Cloud Inn University
5036 25Th Avenue Ne
Seattle, WA 98105
206-526-5200
There was nothing between the hotel name and address. I did do yet another hotel search on Priceline to triple check how Priceline has categorized Silver Cloud University. It appears as:
Silver Cloud Inn University
***Seattle, WA (Seattle Downtown)
It appears from Priceline's categorization and my experience bidding that Priceline really has included this hotel in Seattle Downtown rather than Univ of Washington - Northgate. Strange, but true. You are certainly welcome to do your own search on that. I am delighted to be staying at Silver Cloud Inn University during the busy Labor Day weekend. It looks like a fine hotel.
Thanks for your request for clarification. My bid was indeed for the Silver Cloud Inn University and PRICELINE did have it in the Seattle Downtown zone. I do also understand that on other sites this hotel is listed in the University District. I had initially been bidding in the Northgate area, failed at $99, added downtown and upped my bid by $1 to be successful at $100.
Thanks for your interest.
