Dates of stay are 4-19-05 to 4-24-05. Starting at 72 went to 77 then 84 then 89 If I remember correctly.
Thanks to the board for helping bid on Priceline. I had previously used Hotwire due to the transparancy of which hotel you were bidding on. I had never used priceline before today. I read all the hints on rebidding by picking additional areas that did not have as high of a star rating. It works perfect if you are looking for a resort in WDW. The only other area around Orlando with resort ratings when i bid was Universal.
Started bidding at 72 and upped it by about 5 or 6 dollars each rebid. Finally accepted when it hit 89. I was hoping for the Hilton but don't have a problem accepting the Wyndham. I am aware of all the bad reviews, But at the price I am paying, I don't think we will have any complaints.
Here is a hint for Hotwire, it has probably already posted but here goes anyway. what I do is check for the hotels (no package) in the area I want to go to and print out the results. then I go to the packages and try the same dates. I print out those pages and see if I can identify the ones I am interested in. It has worked everytime, except for the first time I tried the site and was flying blind. I won a 165$ a night Hilton at Tysons corner for about 50$ a night. I was hooked!
