I did not book a hotel in Houston using Hotwire, or I would have updated my post with that info back in early 2010.

I also did not book a hotel in Los Angeles with Hotwire. Again, I needed to be near an event and wanted a higher level of confidence in what I was buying.

I did not use Hotwire to book a hotel for this stay. I needed to be near a specific event and wanted a higher level of confidence in what I was buying, so I went ahead and booked a hotel directly.

I'm trying to book a hotel in Los Angeles for tomorrow night. I did click on the HOTWIRE link in the forum to get started. I would appreciate any insights you have on the following:

4* in downtown Los Angeles for $113 and it has a "super savings" logo (not sure what that means)

Amenities: smoke free rooms, fitness center, pool(s), restaurant(2), business center, high-speed internet access

Recommended in 85% of traveler reviews

4* in Glendale - Burbank - Universal City area, $130

Amenities: fitness center, high-speed internet access

Recommended in 90% of customer reviews

4* LA area LAX hotel, $110

Amenities: airport shuttle, smoke free rooms, fitness center, pool(s), restaurant(s), business center, high-speed internet access

I want to purchase tonight if possible or in the morning so I'm hoping one of you betterbidding gurus is a night owl. Thank you and I will post the result when I buy.

Can anyone ID these two properties?

First, a 2.5 star in the Clear Lake - NASA Space Center - Kemah area. $89 per night for 4/26/10 and 4/27/10. Amenities list: Fitness center, business Center, hi speed internet access. TripAdvisor rating 3.5 out of 5.

The other property is a 3 star in the Clear Lake - NASA Space Center - Kemah area. Same dates. Price is $134 per night. Amenities: Oceanfront, Pool(s), restaurant(s), business center. TripAdvisor rating is 3.5 out of 5.

Please help as soon as possible if you can... I need to book a room ASAP! Thank you.
