Used the PRICELINE link.  $79 was the express deal price, so I bid $75 which was accepted.

Used Betterbidding PRICELINE Link.  I unsuccessfully bid up to $67 for a 2*  My first bid of $78 for 3.5 * was accepted.  Pleasantly surprised.  I'll try to somehow avoid $29 self parking, $39 valet by parking overnight elsewhere.

Used the PRICELINE link.  Not too many rebid zones.  Saw a PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal for $79 and thought I could beat it bidding.  $65 and $69 were unsuccessful and met counter-offers of $83.  Last bid of $73 was accepted.  Need 2 beds for Thanksgiving overnighters, so hope we don't get stuck with 1 queen like they do for Priceliners at Extended Stay America's "Suites."

Seemingly busy/pricy weekend, therefore happy with result.  Used the PRICELINE link.  Rebid up $1 at time 'til accepted.

Noticed a 4* San Diego Downtown-Marina express deal for $101, so tried $89 which was rejected, then $90 re-bid was accepted.  Very happy with this result and "73% saving over regular rate" for a busy Convention time and weekend.  Lucked out they opted to fill some of their inventory of rooms well in advance at this price via opaque bidding.

Total charge $55.14 for airport hotel.  Needed location/place to crash, without parking charge.  Bid up from $40 in $1 increments, got counteroffers of $51 to each of $40 and $43 bids.

Used Link.  Express Deal.  Central Salzburg. Love the location by Mirabel Gardens.

85% recommended. "Great." Supposedly 67% discounted, but comparing to the hotel's own website indicated it was only 30%.  It's also on the outskirts of the zone indicated.  Decent Tripadvisor reviews so keeping an open mind.

Very expensive day for higher star properties in the Pasadena/Arcadia zones.  Some even sold out.  Express Deal for 3.5* is over $300 for Pasadena, and for 3* $106 in Arcadia.  Bid up to $90 for 2.5* in both zones unsuccessful.  2* advertised for $55 in Arcadia.  Guided by that in my 2* bidding, $46 got a counter offer of $56.  Rebid of $47 didn't get anything. $48 accepted.

Note to Administrator:  Arcadia is now among the zone-name cities.

Used the [url=http://www.betterbidding.com/clicks/click.php?afsrc=1&id=40]PRICELINE[/url] link.  Bid of $34 unsuccessful, then $35 was accepted.

Used the [url=http://www.betterbidding.com/clicks/click.php?afsrc=1&id=40]PRICELINE[/url] link.  Bid of $43 got counteroffer of $51, which was higher tha PRICELINE EXPRESS deal of $49.  Rebid of $44 got accepted.  Decent enough rating and it comes with breakfast and parking.  Within short driving distance of Downtown L.A., my ultimate destination, but Downtown L.A.'s hotels were priced higher without offering breakfast & parking.

Priceline regrouped the City Zone, so Betterbidding's corresponding City Zone needs to be updated to CA - Los Angeles - San Gabriel Valley - Monterey Park, Rosemead & El Monte, and I suppose, the new hotel added also.

Used the [url=http://www.betterbidding.com/clicks/click.php?afsrc=1&id=40]PRICELINE[/url] link.  Relatively expensive night for some reason.  $109 didn't get it, but rebid of $110 got accepted.  Perfect, central location and right by metrolink station.

Used the [url=http://www.betterbidding.com/clicks/click.php?afsrc=1&id=40]PRICELINE[/url] link.  After reviewing Express Deals for both Downtown and Old Town, bid in the more affordable Old Town of $72 not accepted, rebid of $73 accepted.  Gladly, it's near Amtrack's S.D. Old Town station.

A 2* Express Deal was for $55 in this zone.  My first $47 bid got a $55 counter offer.  Hit it once again re-bidding $48.  Very satisfactory, renovated property with kitchen amenities, and I'm happy with the price in this zone for a Saturday night stay.

I noticed a comparable express deal for $79, so I bid and rebid up from $60 by ones until accepted.  Stayed here before and liked the breakfast, parking.... 

Used the [url=http://www.betterbidding.com/clicks/click.php?afsrc=1&id=40]PRICELINE[/url] link.  Bid up by ones from $53 accepted at $58.  Very busy, expensive convention time through the weekend.  Had to drop down to 2* because nothing very affordable anymore among higher star levels.  Happy with location and breakfast.

For my proposed stay September 12 - 14 in Downtown San Diego, there's a 3* Hotel with the following guaranteed amenities listed as a PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal:

Indoor Swimming Pool

Outdoor Swimming Pool

Pets Allowed

Restaurant

Airport Shuttle

Business Center

Casino

Fitness Center

The combination, most notably the Casino and both indoor and outdoor pools, aren't featured in any downtown San Diego Hotels of which I'm aware. Could someone give me a best guess?

A couple corrections... the stay was 2 nights through the 20th, and the post belongs in the LA section, not the "other cities." Administrator, if you would be so kind, please make these changes.

Also, yes, there was street parking around the corner.

Bid of $65 got counteroffer of $81. Added free zone. Rebid of $71 rejected. Rebid of $74 accepted. No pool. No fridge. Parking now $17 and $19 for valet. :o Anyone know if street parking is available? Thanks
