Joe's on Bleecker is still one of my faves.
Having grown up in Flushing, I still love Lucia's on Roosevelt Ave, can't believe it's survived all these years with the change but it's still yummy IMHO.
Have been shopping this trip for some time, was going to book Hotwire but figured I'd try one more time on Priceline since everyone seemed to be getting low rates here. Was picky about the zones cause I've been looking at the bedbugregistry far more than is probably healthy. Up to yesterday no luck as high as $141 for MTW, ES, Chelsea, UWS, UES but just now bid MTW, ES Chelsea and got the Hilton on my 1st try (using the PRICELINE link of course :) )

I assume it's the Eventi but I've only seen Fashion 26 ever listed as a 4* for this area and as far as I know they don't have a spa.
Needed a nice, clean place the night before my cruise. They offer transportation to the cruise ship terminal for $8pp.

Thanks for posting, I'm sorry you ended up with that hotel albeit a good deal. My hesitation in adding MTE for my Thanksgiving trip to NY is partly for this reason and also cause I'm afraid I'd end up w/ the waldorf (never thought I would ever say that but I really don't like their rooms).
