  1. I could not be happier with this booking. I'm going to Kansas City for the All Star Game next week and I am just in need of a place to sleep and shower. I was able to get the Red Roof Inn in North Kansas City (only about 5-miles from Kauffman Stadium) for $30 a night. I've stayed at this property before and it is extremely clean and well kept. I actually almost booked this place at a rack rate of $79.99 a night earlier this morning figuring Priceline wouldn't have much to offer in KC next week due to the game. I sure am glad I checked though. Total with taxes was $78.30. :D

  2. Bid $35 for a 2.5* hotel in the downtown zone and was rejected. I was given the option to increase my bid to $44 and re-bid for the same zone and star level. I declined.

Increased my bid to $38 for a 2.5 hotel and added the Forest Park - Clayton zone and was rejected. I was given the option to increase my bid to $49 and re-bid for the same zone and star level. I declined.

Increased my bid to $40 for a 2.5* hotel and added the STL Airport zone and was accepted by the Ramada Inn St. Louis Airport. Total price with fees was $100.40

Of course I used the site's PRICELINE link to start my bidding! :)

  3. Bid $30 2* Kansas City North region and was rejected. Was offered an opportunity to increase my bid to $38 and re-submit for the same zone.

Added Lee's Summit / Blue Springs region and increased my bid to $31 and was accepted by Fairfield Inn Lees Summit.

I was shooting for the Fairfield Inn at Worlds of Fun as I've gotten that hotel numerous times for $32 but since I'm staying at the same hotel chain and I'm actually saving $1 I can't complain.

Of course I used the site's PRICELINE link to start bidding :)

  4. Got the exact same deal at the Fairfield Inn near Worlds of Fun that I did last week thanks to Priceline.

Bid $32 2* KC North and was immediately accepted by Fairfield Inn at Worlds of Fun

I was kinda surprised that I was able to nab this hotel for the exact same price 2 weeks in a row! I can't complain either. Last week when I was there it was pretty nice! :)

Used the site's PRICELINE bid to start bidding :)

  5. Bid $30 / 2* Kansas City North - Rejected and was offered a free re-bid if I wanted to increase my bid to $38

Bid $32 / 3* Kansas City North & Independence - Sports Complex region and was accepted by the Fairfield Inn and Suites @ Worlds of Fun.

I didn't see this property listed on the current Priceline hotel list and by its location I would assume it would be included in the Northern Kansas City zone.

  6. For staying 1 Night 7/26 - 7/27 in Kansas City....

Bid 2* North KC Zone / $30 - Rejected (Was offered the opportunity to re-bid if I wanted to increase my bid to $38)

    Bid 2* & Added Independence & Sport Complex Zone / $32 - Rejected

    Bid 2* & Added Downtown zone / $34 - Rejected

Bid 2* & added Liberty zone / $38 - Accepted by La Quinta North Kansas City.

The La Quinta was the hotel I was shooting for and I knew I could get it for $38 but being my greedy self I tried everything I could to get it for less. Oh well. I'm happy!
