  1. Check in 10/21 and check out 10/22. Price was $229 for that night. I'm bad and didn't use the HOTWIRE link. I'm managing an event in Vegas and our hotel room block was sold out so I helped my computer illiterate boss book a room. His brain was already going crazy just seeing me on the internet alone so I didn't want to add more things to the mix! :-) The listed amenities were: casino, fitness center, pool, restaurants, business center, high-speed internet access, golf nearby and tennis nearby.

  2. Not sure if you've bid yet but my advice is to stay within the Buckhead, Downtown or Midtown zones if you're coming strictly to explore Atlanta. Those three zones have all the tourist attractions and the museums. They're also all located around MARTA's rail line (Atlanta's subway). Unless you have a car, you'll want to avoid the other areas since you'd have to drive everywhere and Atlanta traffic is notorious for being horrific. If you do have a car, the best areas are Galleria, Perimeter, Druid Hills and Smyrna since those areas are still somewhat close to the city.
