Thank you for the strategy. I started by following your instructions, bid until zone 4, closed browser and re-opened with your PRICELINE link. I then continued with your strategy but on my first try received the following message:

We were not able to process this request since our records indicate you have already made a request for this same trip. Your credit card has not been charged for Request Number ###

I tried again a few times, but kept getting this message. Not sure where I went wrong....

Thank-you. From the reviews I've read of this hotel, it appears that if you book through Hotwire etc you get a villa off the main property and you don't have access to the same amenities. I want to avoid this place. Prob won't book on Hotwire since it couples Chatham with Brewster and I may get stuck with this place....

Any help in trying to identify this hotel would be great!!

Hi,

Just booked the Sheraton Back Bay on HOTWIRE for $89. While I am pleased with the hotel and the rate, I called them immediately to request a Queen or King bed and they said they could only give me a room with two double beds. Now, i know this is a big hotel and they must have rooms with one bed available. Anyone have any experience in dealing with this issue? Any suggestions on how to get them to give me one?!

I want to bid on a 4* in Chatham for 07/07/09 - 07/10/09 in hopes to get the Chatham Barrs inn. Has anyone gotten this hotel through Priceline? It's listed in their regular section at around $400/night. What do you think I should start my bidding at?
