Yes, a regular rate purchase knowing the name. I didn't think I would save enough to be worthwhile for a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal or by bidding. I was already up to $85 bidding. I did go through your link but I suspect you only benefit on Express deals (sorry).

We'll visit the strip likely only one afternoon and not at night at all. I usually go the bidding route with Priceline but this time settled for a set price and hotel and bought the Hampton Inn Redrock/Summerlin. Got a King suite for $115 plus fees. Has excellent reviews, free parking, free breakfast, close enough to everything we want, etc. Thanks for your help.

Thanks. We've been to Vegas with the last time being about 15 years ago. This time it's primarily a stopover on the way to Zion and Bryce National Parks. We'll probably spend an afternoon on the Strip but will also drive to the MOB Museum, the Springs Preserve and may drive out to Red Rock Canyon. So perhaps we are better off somewhere in the Summerlin area and driving to the Strip?

Interested in a 3* or 4* place, preferably near the strip. We'll have a rental car so we can get around; parking will be needed. Nice to be in an area where we can walk around. Other than being clean with comfortable beds, our needs are minimal. Would like something in the range of $100 per night.

Started at $45, got it at $60. A little farther out than I wanted but it looks to be an excellent hotel at a great price.

Got this for $55; best online rate is $72. Looks like a beautiful resort--too bad we'll just be there overnight.

I started bidding 3* at $54 then added areas and lowered stars and went up to $64. All rejected and I used all my attempts. Got my wife to bid on her account and got this motel for $70. A fairly good deal as their best web rate is $90 and Orbitz is $110.
