Started bidding at $62 per night. The Marriott NW which is the normal win had a pre-purchase rate of $85. The $62 bid was rejected, so used one of the multiple free re-bids in ATL for a $63 bid which was accepted. Stayed at this hotel many times - good hotel. Total for two nights with tax was $163.88.

Started out at around $74 and upped the bid by $2 each time using the multiple free re-bids in Cincinnati for 4 star hotels. Got an "increase your bid by $25 to win" when bidding at around $76. CLosed out the bidding and waited 24hrs. Started bidding again the day before arrival and started bidding at $84, increasing bid by $2 each time - finally won at $92. Hotel is in a great location, right next to the Hilton and Westin (the other four stars downtown). Valet parking is rather steep at $28/night. Parking is available near the two stadiums for $9 per day. City is great for walking so if you don't need a car during your stay, that is a great option (weather permitting). Its about an eight block walk

I was going to start bidding at $50 and use the four free rebids for the Altanta area, then just decided to bid $53 to start. Won with that bid. Hotel is in good location right off downtown connector. Rack rate is $149/night so I'm not going to complain.

Started at $56. That bid received a "we can provide the room for $72 now" response. Used the large number of free rebids for a 4* in ATL to increment in $1 increments before winning at $63 (total around $76/night with tax). Stayed in this hotel the past weekend - nice hotel in great location.

Declined and used some free rebids, starting at $49 before winning at $51 (didn't try $50). $51 per night with free breakfast can't be sneezed at. Declined the offer, bid $47, $48, $50 and finally won at $52 using the free rebids on 3* hotels (free rebid zones of Chamblee, Forest Park, Jonesboro and Morrow). Good hotel, stayed their previously. Parking is steep at $20+ per night. There is free parking outside overnight (free parking starts around 10pm). There is public covered parking about 50yds north for $5 unlimited but no in and out.
Thought I'd start lower than my previous bid for the previous night ($46). Obviously didn't start low enough as $43 was accepted. Even better deal than previous night. Used the PRICELINE link as always

Starting bidding a few days ago at $25. Two times it came back and said I was close but needed to bid higher than $28 per day. Decided to wait a little longer and try again. Bid $25 and won. Best I could find was around $35 on retail website.
Seems if there are better deals at EWR for mid size SUV than mid or larger autos

Bid in Midtown on 3* hotel, starting at $45. Was rejected at $45, rebid at $47 and won. Hotel is in a convenient location and is a decent hotel. Excellent rate for this location. As always, used the PRICELINE link to start bidding.
Started bidding using the PRICELINE link on the forum. Bid $58 per night since others reported $60 winning bids. The bid was rejected but offered that if I accepted $66/nt, the bid would win. Rejected the counteroffer and used a free rebid to bid $60 which ending up winning. I'm a Gold Marriott member, so they provided me access to concierge floor which was nice. The 3.5* Marriott close by would not honor the gold status on a previous stay.
Hotel was nice, parking was free but somewhat limited. Cumberland Mall is across the street and location is very convenient since its at the intersection of I75 and I285
Started bid at $16 per day for EWR. Won with this bid (said it would be a Nissan Altima or equivalent), total with taxes was around $210.
I had booked the airfare about a month before booking so thought I'd take my time with getting the car through Priceline. The cost seems to be very demand sensitive, so I started low.
I used around $22 per day for full size and got on different days an "accept $29 dollars to win". Knowing that the lowest price would be somewhere in between $22 and $29, I tracked pricing on hotwire and decided to keep going at around $22-$23 as long as the price didn't track upwards. Closer to the travel date, the price did go up, so I upped my bid but with the same result (accept $29 to win). I rejected this time and then got a "special offer" of $190 for the week. Since this was less than $29/day, I booked it. I believe this is just like booking thru the regular Priceline website.
Regardless, used the PRICELINE link to start the process, as always. Total price was $295 for the week but is charged when the car is returned, since I think this is a cancelable reservation. Price is decent and the canx feature is not a benefit to me on this trip but may be to other users
Bid $38 on 2.5* in Parsippany, hoping to get the Fairfield Inn. Received a "accept $47 rate to win the bid". Declined that, waited 24 hrs and rebid at $41 which won. The hotel provided was the Hyatt SummerField Suites - which is a 3* hotel. Reviews are somewhat checkered, so will update with a review. Also had opportunity to add an additional night at the same rate (which I might do if the hotel checks out OK). Does offer free parking and free breakfast.

Bib $16 for midsize, which did not win but did get a request to up the bid by $5. Instead, declined and bid $18 for Standard Size car. Upon entering the bid but before confirming, the website indicated very low chance of winning. Won Standard Size from Avis for $18/day - total came to $357 (incl taxes and fees). Avis website was around $550 for same car and dates.

Bid $12 a day for Newark, also had a $30 for min of five days (ended up being $3.75 per day). At initial bid, indicated that something the the $20-$28 per day we give me a "good" chance of winning. Luckily, ignored that and bid the $12(+3.75). Ended up winning. Total with fees/taxes was $199. Rate on Hotwire was around $260.
Started bidding at $45; got a response to increase price by $11. Declined that offer, used two free rebids to get to $49 which was accepted. Midtown hotel (and that is the hotel's name) has mixed reviews but we've stayed there previously and its a perfectly decent 3* hotel. The parking is a little strange in that you have to park on the top floor of the multi-story parking deck next door - so a bit of a pain "climbing" to the top (especially on weekends when the rest of the deck is empty)

Started off at $45 (only one free rebid for this zone). Over a few days, got to $48, then got the "bid $15 more to win message". Used the free rebid to go to winning bid of $51. VERY highly rated hotel. I've stayed there before and its the best Fairfield Inn I've ever stayed at. Surprising its rated two stars (provides more like 3 or 3.5 star service). Its a relatively new hotel.
I believe its the only 2 star hotel in the region, so a safe bet to get that hotel. Not much in the area but good stopping point off the highway.

Starting bidding at $47, received response that by increasing bid by $15 bid would be accepted. Ignored that offer and added a free rebid zone (Jonesboro) at $49, then additional rebid zone (morrow). Finally hit at $51. This hotel is on Peachtree st on the edge of the midtown area. Nice hotel and since its a Residence Inn it has free breakfast. Hotel is down the street from the high museum and not too far from the Modtown Marta station. Parking on-site is pricey ($20+) but there is public parking up the street about 50 yds for $6.

Update: Hotel now charges $15 per night for parking. They've recently undergone a renovation and repaved the lot so I assume they are catching up with everyone else
Started bidding at $45. Got a response that $60 would win the bid. Rejected that and rebid at $49 using free rebid. Added $1 per free rebid until winning at $51. Standard Courtyard although what makes this a super deal is that parking is free of charge (other hotels charge $16 - $30 per night in this area).

Started at $34, got a response that if I added another $15 then the bid would be accepted. Started using free rebid zones in $1 increments until got to the winning bid of $38 (total of $50.82 with taxes/fees). Hyatt Place is nice concept. Have stayed at this hotel previously and can recommend it (although make sure you have good directions, can be difficult to find).

Started bidding a few days ago at $60. Got a response that if I bid $79, I'd win. Bid up to $63 and waited another day or so. Started again at $62, got a similar response. Finally upped each bid by $1 using the multiple free rebids in ATL for 4* hotel until bid of $65 was accepted. Total was $252.63.
