  1. The Hyatt Place would be a guess in this case.

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.

Yes, I would agree with you  -- given the price and other amenities; except that the poster (and my independent search) indicates that there is no free breakfast; that makes me suspicious that he'll end up with the Holiday Inn (which as explained above may be a better fit given the poster has kids.)

  2. Assuming that you're using Hotwire, and after looking up the dates and price that you stated in your request, and further noting that the amenities do not include free breakfast, then the most likely hotel that you're looking at is the Holiday Inn Bunker Hill.  Here's their website: http://bunkerhillbostonhotel.com

It could be reasonably argued that the hotel in question is the Hyatt Place ( http://bostonmedford.place.hyatt.com/en/hotel/home.html ), since the price is more in line with that hotel;  however, given that there is no free breakfast listed, the better guess is the Holiday Inn that I mentioned above.  If you're lucky, the listing left off the breakfast, since the Hyatt Place is a nicer hotel.  Either one of these hotels are decent places to stay, and the Holiday Inn could very well be a kid favorite over the Hyatt Place -- especially since the Hyatt Place's pool is indefinitely closed for repairs.

  3. Casino, Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant

    Booked today, 29DEC2011

Considering that this is "last minute" for the huge electronics convention in Las Vegas, this was a fantastic deal. Hotels.com listed this at $91 per night.

I also noticed that another 3-star showed up on Hotwire immediately after I booked this one, but for $42 a night. I'm not sure that it's the same hotel, since the new one doesn't list the guest approval rating (which was 85%).

Oh, and I used the link to HOTWIRE provided by Betterbidding.com

  4. 10/22/2010 - 10/24/2010

Price Paid (as listed on HOTWIRE): $59

Extended Stay America - Norton, MA, USA

Hotwire listed the hotel with the following amenities:

    Suite

    Laundry Facilities

    High-speed Internet Access

    Kitchenette

The $59 price was pretty good, since this weekend was very busy (fall colors weekend) and all of the local hotels were asking outrageous prices. The hotel was recommended in 100% of reviews, and gets a 4.7 (out of 5) guest rating on Hotels.com. For an additional $5 per night at the front desk, you can get a premium room.

I booked the room using the HOTWIRE link on the BetterBidding forum page!

  5. Complimentary Breakfast

    Fitness Center

    Pool(s)

    Business Center

    Laundry Facilities

    High-speed Internet Access

    Kitchenette

Using the Links to Hotwire.com at the top of the BetterBidding.com page, I booked the StayBridge Suites in Austin - Round Rock Texas

After the first night - I am definitely impressed; the hotel is new & beautiful, and the suite is large and has a kitchenette, there is free internet, and a nice breakfast.

  6. Yes, I just booked the same place - Emabassy Suites Columbus, under the same listing- Columbus North, for $49 a night

    Dates: 03/29/2010 - 04/02/2010

    Suite

    Complimentary Breakfast

    Fitness Center

    Pool(s)

    Restaurant(s)

    Business Center

    Laundry Facilities

    High-speed Internet Access

    Kitchenette
