used Betterbidding link for HOTWIRE
I started at $78 (wishful thinking) and worked my way up to $111 with re-bid zones and did not win. For some reason I was able to repeat my initial bid (location and stars) and booked at $120 which is what hotwire was showing for its 4-star.
(sorry if this is a repost - I dont' think my computer submitted)
Priceline doesn't seem to have a Strip South zone, only a Strip South Vicinity zone. Do we think the same south zone results will come through with the south vicinity zone?
I'm trying to book one tonight so any help is greatly appreciated!!
Thanks!!
Won on first bid. You know what that means... Should've started lower!! I used the PRICELINE link on this page. Thanks!
First bid $35 for airport 3.5 star north zone and was rejected and offered counter offer of $48. Added Forest Park zone and re-bid $42 for the win. Used the PRICELINE links on this page. Thanks!

Honestly, I thought we'd get the Aqua but this looks just as nice so I'm excited. I love Cancun. I don't know if the Aqua is adults only... that could maybe be a way to distinguish between the 2 in the future - at least something to look into.

Just realized my dates were cut off in the topic... it's for 4/8/11-4/10/11
Just got this hotel thru HOTWIRE. I used the links!! Just to note, there is a disclaimer on this property that all guests on the reservation must be age 18 (or 16 - I can't remember) or higher. You see this after the main page but before the purchase - and it's all the way at the bottom of the page. My options depending on when I searched flipped between this one at $115 or another option at $119 that only required that the primary reservation holder be 18 so make sure you notice when booking. Oddly the amenities for this one include children's activity progams so we'll have to see exactly what that means when we get there.

Thanks to the board!! I was going to use the new Travelocity Secret Rates but this board makes me feel a lot "safer" on the secret stuff.
Yeah, if the maps on Priceline are accurate, I'm for sure avoiding the North Strip Vicinity. Now I just to decide if it's worth the risk and believe the PL maps are accurate.
Hi-
I'm sorry I am a little confused about the Trump and the North Vicinity vs Strip area.
Has it been confirmed if the Trump is in Strip North or Strip Vicinity North?
I was trying to follow the thread but I couldn't tell if there was an answer yet....
I am trying to avoid the Trump.
Thanks!!
I used the PRICELINE links above. I first tried for a four star and went up to ~$120 without a win. I wish I would've started lower. I fell for PLs trick telling me that my bid had essentially no chance of winning a 3.5 in the location.
Thanks for the board!!
I don't think this is on the Hotwire List yet. Below are the amenities. Sorry for the late post. I've been meaning to add my information.
I did not like this hotel and don't believe it deserves the 3 star rating it has. Not sure what makes it a "resort" either. It's on the marina side so it has a very small inlet as a beach, not sure how far the other main beach was since it was AI and we were only there a day and didn't want to leave and miss out on the AI. There was no recognizable liquor brands. The ala carte restaurant was "under construction." The dinner buffet was not good - breakfast was good. It is far from the airport, at least a $40 cab ride. Internet access was not working. I hate when people just post the bad things but I cannot think of anything good.

First bid, offer accepted. And I used the PRICELINE link above.
Started bidding at $29
Parking was an additional $10/day.
I got very few of the amenities listed on the website - no robes, no iPod docking station - I could've asked about it or asked to change rooms but I didn't want to go through the hassle.
Started bidding at $29
Started at $51 and added $10 each bid.
4 star - Millenium Park - $50 - rejected
Add Lincoln Park - bid $55 - rejected
Add Midway - bid $60 - won Hyatt Regency
I had two friends bid one got it for $65 the other $62....
Started at $30 and added areas at $5 incremental.
