I'm trying to bid on a one way car rental from Los Angles (LAX/BUR) to San Francisco (SFO/SJC/OAK). The Priceline FAQ says "Note: One-way rentals are available with our Name Your Own Price
Clicked the PRICELINE link to start the bidding at $65 and incremented up by $5 using the zone strategy. $90 Was accepted by Hotel Solamar

San Diego,
I used the PRICELINE link on this forum to start bidding at $44 and added zones to $49 and $53. $53 was accepted by the system.
Started at $150 bid and worked my way up in $5 increments by changing my starting city (within LA).
Was given an offer of $287 bid which worked out to:
Airline Ticket Cost: $286.92 (USD) per ticket
Airline Ticket Taxes and Fees: $349.94 (USD) per ticket
Number of Tickets: 2
Airfare Subtotal: $1273.72 (USD)
Total Trip Cost: $1273.72 (USD)
Cheapest flights I could find were around $677/pp or $1350ish total. Saved $80 bucks or so.
Same itinerary on Kayak was $870/pp or or $1740 total. Saved $467.
The itinerary it OK have a little longer layover, but I'll take it.
Started at $80 and incremented up to $160 in $5 intervals. Jumped $10 from $150 to $160, so maybe could have got it for a few bucks cheaper.
Venetian:
$160/nt for 2 rooms. March 27, 2009 through March 29, 2009.
Thank goodness I didn't get the Trump :)

Thanks. Is there a list of possible routes published anywhere? Or does that need to be worked out through trial and error?
