  2. This one is a keeper if you want to be near sky train station (10 min walk)

    AND

walking distance from Richmond night market

I actually did this thru PRICELINE EXPRESS Deals, reason being I wanted a certain hotel really near sky train, and

didnt want to chance it with name your own price.  Thru a combination of HOTWIRE info (the only 4* in YVR airport zone)

Hotwire would have cost $413 where as Price.line totaled $379.  I may get dinged additional "recovery fee" when I check in,

    Will update.

    Room Cost

    $106.00 /per room night

    Taxes and Fees

    $61.29

    Total Charges

    $379.29

  3. All those win prices you see for Jun?  I think you can forget about those.

Downtown hotels are all full, I think, bec. of summer vacation season.

Did the rebid(s) jedi force all the way from 90 up to 211 over few days.

Even briefly entertained idea of staying near airport and Link Rail up to downtown.

    Room Cost

    $211.00 /per room night

    Taxes and Fees

    $75.40

    Total Charges

    $497.40

Direct hotel website indicates $269/nite + tax/fees with very limited selections.

  4. After many attempts with rebid zones got it for $97.

Offer Price: avg. per room, per night $97.00

    Rooms: 1

    Nights: 2

    Room Subtotal: $194.00

    Total Charged to Card: $228.12

Do note the resort fee of $28 per nite (standard for all strip hotels) on top of of the charges above,

    which includes parking/wifi/gym/pool etc.

First time staying at Cosmo, beautiful hotel got 51st floor with city view, very modern decor and clean.

    Thank YOU BetterBidding!!!!

  5. was aiming for the Renaissance, first bid $80, was offered counter bid of $110,

shrugged it off, added rebid zone with $90 and got it. Looks like I will be hit with $27 resort fee per nite (parking/wifi etc)

    71333 Dinah Shore Drive

  8. As there are only 3 zones for Reno, I just started with $35, then $38, then $42.

    2500 East Second Street

    Reno, Nevada 89595

Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $42.00

    Subtotal: $126.00

    Taxes & Fees: $25.65

    Total Charges*: $151.65

I'll prolly get hit with some kind of Reno hotel tax on the back end, typically 10-15%.

Very happy with the prices, esp on a holiday weekend.

Hotel site says they are out of cheap rooms.....hmmm I wonder why that is :)

  9. Just a few hundred yards from the Intercontinental. Plenty of rebid zones for Atlanta, this was easy.

    Grand Hyatt Atlanta3300 Peachtree Road

    Atlanta, GA 30305

    404-365-8100

    Check-In: Saturday, February 21, 2009-03:00 PM

    Check-Out: Thursday, February 26, 2009-12:00 PM

Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $73.00 (USD)

    Number of Rooms: 1

    Number of Nights: 5

    Room Subtotal: $365.00 (USD)

    Taxes and Fees: $64.41 (USD)

    Total Room Cost: $429.41 (USD)

I did find out there is a $20/day self parking fee, or a $30/day valet.

If I had booked from the Hyatt home page it would have cost me over $1300 for those 5 nites.

Oh, and definitely used this PRICELINE link for bidding.

  10. Sure, this was not on the strip, but considering all the posted rates are at least $150 for new yr's eve, this is a huge win.

Ignored $77 bluffing counter offer and stick with the program. Won it for $60 (bidding all the way from $45).

Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $60.00 (USD)

    Number of Rooms: 1

    Number of Nights: 1

    Room Subtotal: $60.00 (USD)

    Taxes and Fees: $13.62 (USD)

    Total Room Cost: $73.62 (USD)

  11. Congratulations on your win!

Glad to see you're happy with the results and that this property should meet your needs for this stay.

Thank you for sharing your win with the board and for using our PRICELINE link to begin your bidding.

    Enjoy your stay.

Not quite as luxurious as the Hiltons of the past few nights of stay but cost and convenience wise this

would be ideal if dont want to pay for parking. Self parking at the Sheraton outback.

  12. Congratulations on your win!

Nicely done... another nice deal for you for this trip! Glad to see you were able to use our re-bids in order to undercut the counter-offer and get a better price.

Thank you for sharing your win with the board and for using our PRICELINE link to begin your bidding.

Enjoy this leg of your trip.

    nice room and accomodations.

$16.50 parking fee per day for self parking in the parking garage.

  13. This is a parking fee which only applies to those who have a car (to save the inevitable question from a future user who will ask if they will be charged if they don't bring a car)

Your PRICELINE winning bid only guarantees double occupancy, after that, accomodating your needs for more than double occupancy is at the discretion of the hotel.

    Very nice accomodations, beautiful resort.

$20/day parking fee if you have a car.

Was not charged any kid fee.

  14. It's automatic once you post your results to the board (assuming you use the correct format... otherwise it'll appear once we edit the topic title to the correct format)

I found out there is a mandatory overnite parking fee of $20 per night, and possibly a guest fee of $20 per child under a certain age. Can anyone confirm this? I have come to understand that 4*-5* hotel/resorts ding you to death on little fees on everything, ie internet access, gym, pool, parking.

Am going to investigate street parking to get around the parking fee.....

  15. First bid conv center zone $50, then added 2 rebid zones 8 and 9 up to 65 no dice.

Ignored the counter offer at $77 in between bids and stayed with game plan :)

By showing me $77, PRICELINE basically told me the winning price is between 65 and 77.

Switched account, started with Fremont Street area at $55, then rebid zone conv ctr $60 then rebid zone 9 @ $65 no dice.

Added conv center zone at $69 and won the bid. Hotel website cheapest room I can find is $149 + tax and fees.

All thruout, each failed attempt PRICELINE will try to get you to go for the fixed retail price page. Ignore those and stay with the game plan.

    Subtotal: $69.00

    Taxes & Service Fees: $14.66

    Total Charges*: $83.66

Renaissance Las Vegas Hotel 4 Star

    Convention Center - Unlv Area

    3400 Paradise Road

    Las Vegas, Nevada 89169-2770

    702-784-5700

Oh and most definitely, used PRICELINE link from betterbidding.com

  16. Do not be fooled when PRICELINE says one time deal only, bid $13 above for this zone for free bla bla....... (I was bidding $45 at the time).

Stick to your game plan like I did, do the rebid zone manuver, added rebid zone and raised by $3 and got it. :)

    $96 total for 2 nites

    $20 in fees

$total out of pocket for 2 nites $116

Hotel website lists for $109 per night b4 fees/taxes.

Thank you for this website, definitely used PRICELINE links in these parts to do the bidding.

  17. Used rebid zone method and tried for SD downtown 4* (long shot for Grand Manchester Hyatt) all the way from 45 to 75 no dice, split the days to the ones shown above and got this chunk for $75 a nite + $29 in total fees/taxes.

Total out of pocket $178.24 for 2 nights.

    Hotel website lists 145/nite + fees/taxes.

Definitely used PRICELINE link in these parts to do the bidding.

Thank you, thereuare, for this message board. I am saving 40% on lodging costs. This will be my 2nd trip to southern cal this quarter!!!!! Have to bid on at least 2 more travel days, will report back as soon as.
