Started again montreal 4* 85 rejected
added longueil $ 90 rejected
added laval $95 rejected
This is for labor day weekend. Two rooms. Now hotwire has a 3.5* for $90 (no pool) and a 4* for 107 with a pool. I'm getting panic-y and wonder if I should just take one of those... any ideas which hotels they are? Dare I wait another couple of days and start the bidding over with 3*s on Priceline?
How close? I was about to move down to a 3*. What do you suggest?
1st bid $70 4* Montreal rejected
added longueil $ 80 rejected
added laval $85 rejected
I need Saturday & Sunday Sept 4 & 5 (2 rooms)
Advice anyone?
4* OMNI- Shoreham $85 8/29-9/2 accepted
first bid was Woodley -Dupont area $75
priceline replied that they would accept that area if I raised price $22
I added Capitol Hill and bid $ 85 and they accepted that.
Thank you to everyone for the great advice!! :)
We are tourists and don't know Washington at all! We won't have a car, so being close to the Metro is essential! I ruled out the Omni-Shoreham because it's a mile from the Metro stop...We have a 14 year old, so a pool would be nice. Any advice is appreciated! Thanks!
Total Failure with 1st bid $70 4* Capitol Hill
for 8/29 - 9/2 (4 nights)
then I added White House
Should I have increased the bid too? Is it a length of stay problem, or an unreasonably low bid? Suggestions?
