Got the Westin-Downtown Indy. Never stayed there before, looks like a nice place.
Decided to do Express rather than bidding. Seems like in the past my bidding has only saved me a dollar or two compared to the PRICELINE EXPRESS prices, and it's not worth the stress! :-)

Express was going for $81 so I wanted to beat that. Bid $65, was immediately offered $81 and a free rebid. Added additional zone with no 4 star hotels and rebid $70. Rejected, so added another zone with no 4-star hotels and bid $72 and was accepted.

2 nights 5/2-5/4 N Michigan Ave/River North area is my goal. Got the Intercontinental for the last weekend in March through Priceline for $106. However, this is a Cards/Cubs weekend and prices are high, but thought I'd start early and see if I can get a deal. Since there's so many rebid opportunities I started really low a8 $80, and went up in $5 increments to $120. Ran out of rebid zones so will try again tomorrow. Hopeful that maybe as we get closer to my dates that if rooms are not filled I will be successful! Otherwise I may find myself sleeping in the car! LOL

No mention of "Guest Favorite" or "Free Internet".
Saw the Priceline Express for $116 and with the 5% discount currently offered wanted to better that. So started at $90, added zones with no 4.5* properties and ended up rebidding several times, Finally got it at $105, which is only $1 better than the Express deal. Oh eel,, that helps offset the $65/night parking fee!
The 4.5* would possibly be the Omni or Intercontinental, although I'd definitely lean towards the latter.
I'm not seeing the same 4* when searching for these dates. Are you still seeing the same listing when searching?

Sorry, I thought I had put that in the box on the form.
Anyway, it had five icons corresponding to free breakfast, free parking, pets allowed, fitness center, and pool. The guest rating was listed as 9.0 and it was also marked as a "guest favorite".
Tried bidding $60 but no success. It offered a rebid at $73 which I didn't take. Had seen the $74 Express deal and knew they had a 5% discount offer running so I just bought it. New property, wasn't even loaded in the GPS yet.

Started at $50, got offered $72, then bid $55, $60, $62, and got accepted at $65. Used the Better Bidding link! :-) Went that low since I saw a price of $74 on PRICELINE for a PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal for a 4-star in downtown Indy, so I hoped to beat that, and did! :-)
Started all the way down at $40, and then continued to add zones that did not have 3-star hotels. Incremented by $2/try and finally was successful at $50.
Used BB's PRICELINE link ...Started at $40, they offered an immediate acceptance if I bumped to $53, but I added other zones without 3.5* properties and rebid at $45 and finally accepted at $50
First bid of $35 accepted. Used BB PRICELINE link! :)

Just did it again! It must be the weekend that lowers the price. Got it for $36! Bid $35 first. It said I could re-bid at $45. I added a zone without a 3.5* hotel, rebid at $36 and got it!

Disappointed to get this property since it wasn't on the list of previous wins and it's not very highly rated on the property's own website! Several blocks from Beale Street so will pose a much longer walk than hoped.
So I"m posting here in hopes that others may realize this is an option for a 3.5 start Priceline Express purchase.
