  1. This may seem high but there is a conference in town during those dates. I was purposely trying to get the Intercontinental because thats the hotel my Mom wanted to stay at. I know I could of gotten a much better deal if I had included North. I started off at $55 and increased until $90 still couldn't get it accepted. I checked the normal prices this morning and the price for the Intercontinetal dropped a little so I decided only to increase a dollar...probably could of gone less but needed the reservation to be wrapped up today. So I am happy. Used your PRICELINE link. Thanks

  2. Started bidding one area at a time as well as descending in star order (sorry don't remember the area i started with first) Low bid was $68 and eventually worked up to $80 bidding on a three star. Won 4*NH Danube City at $80, 4/29-5/2. The only area I did not include was the city center becuase we have a car and I think it might be easier to find cheap parking outside of the city plus from all the reviews I have read say that Vienna has excellent, easily accesible public transportation.

Used your PRICELINE link to book the hotel stay...thanks!

  3. Finally remembered to use your PRICELINE link when bidding! First bid $30/night for Frankfurt airport area, 4* and was denied. Then left priceline and came back so I could bid on the East and West side of Frankfurt without including the Airport area. Bid $43/night on a four star and won the Moevenpick Hotel Frankfurt City. I went on tripadvisor and it is listed as the second favorite hotel in Frankfurt. Also noted on Tripadvisor that many people have won this hotel on PRICELINE around $40/night

Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: US$43.00

    Subtotal: US$43.00

    Taxes & Service Fees: US$15.41

    Total Charges: US$58.41

  4. I would not listen to the last persons reply. Your first trip to Vegas should be as good as it can be and any of the hotels that she listed from Travelocity all will make you regret your purchase. MGM Grand is a good hotel...Paris is awesome becuase of location and the hotel itself (CENTER STRIP), NYNY is not that great. If it were me I would spend the entire $85 budget on the hotel and get the best you can afford. It really does make the difference in your stay.

Also do not miss Cirque de Soliel (any of them) you can get up to half price tickets the morning of the show in a stip mall across from the huge hotel/city they are building in the center strip. Also you can call tix4dinners and they offer 1/2 price dinners for certain restaurants, some of which are REALLY good!!! When we were there they had the following restaurants available....Enoteca San Marco (VENETIAN) Penazzi(HARRAHS), Bally's steakhouse (BALLY"S), Al Dente (Bally's), Le Provencal (PARIS), Les Artistes (Paris), Ah Sin (Paris). So basically you pay a $2 cover price and you get you go to the restaurant and you get half off your meal. Im sure the restaurants have changed but since you are going during low season it is possible that you will have more options. Have fun
