The hi-speed internet is one of the amenities. The edges are locked on the pop-up window that Hotwire provids to show the amenities. Therefore the hi-speed internet got cut off and I did not think to include it when I posted my message.

During our stay the hotel was very clean and quiet. We didn't have a car with us (we used TriMet to get around), but if you do, the parking fee is pretty steep (I think I saw that it is $18 per night). We did not take our laptop, but they also have a charge for internet connection. You can use their PC's in the lobby to print boarding passes for no charge, however. So for our needs, this hotel was a bargain.
I first tried to find a good price a couple of months ago. Price has gone down substantially since then.
For the searchs I have tried, there is a 2* hotel with no amenities for $52-$54 per night. I don't see a 4* with no amenities appear, however.
I sure hope someone reports on the subject 4* -- it would be a good buy if it is in the real downtown area and not in the Riverplace location.
Amenities include "Fitness Center", "Restaurant(s)" and "High-speed Internet Access"
This is NOT a bargain. I could have booked a room for $250 on the hotel's website, and it would have been a bit cheaper than HOTWIRE when the taxes are added. I looked at the NY hotel list on this board and being new to this board didn't realize that I probably could have figured out that I was getting the Washington-Jefferson and not the Hilton Garden Inn from the TripAdvisor rating. Oh well, live and learn.
3* Portland (Airport PDX) Holiday Inn

I have stayed at both the Radisson and the Holiday Inn. I have always had a car when we stayed there, but I have also done quite a bit of walking around the area. Early May in Portland has some probability of producing some damp (drizzle) weather, but other than that, I do not see much danger in walking between the properties.
I much prefer the rooms in the Radisson to the ones in the Holiday Inn. If you wish to go to downtown Portland, both properties offer a free shuttle to the airport, and from there you can board a MAX train. I mention this because there are not a lot of dining options at either property, and downtown Portland offers a treasure chest of dining opportunities.
