Attempted to bid for a 4.5* hotel in Manhattan but couldn't match with anything below $170/night. Saw this PRICELINE EXPRESS offer, and based on the details provided, narrowed it down to the Holiday Inn NYC - Lower East Side, which has good reviews on Trip Advisor and Yelp.
Was looking for 4* and up in the Union Square area. Started with $105 in Union Square East. Added Union Square West and increased to $110. Finally added Civic Center (no known 4*) and increased to $115, which was accepted. Thought it would hit somewhere around $110 to $120, as the current Express deal is $126 for a 4* in Union Square West.
Look like a good place. Thanks again, Better Bidding!
Started at $110 for a 4* in the Downtown-Pike Place area. Using the re-bidding techniques, I increased by increments of $5 till $140/nt was finally accepted. Satisfied overall with the hotel and the price. Promo codes SUMMER and PCLNJULY25 codes didn't work for me, possibly expired?
Wanted a nice place near Union Square (East or West). After bidding $95, $100, $105, and $110 nightly, and using Japan Town, Civic Center South, and Fisherman's Wharf as 'safe zones', I was given $115/nt at the Mark Hopkins Intercontinental. Travel dates are from Wednesday, April 25th to Friday, April 27th.
Many thanks to Better Bidding, and good luck!
