additional question.  i read on one of the threads from about2 or 3 years ago but can't find it again now from Thereuare that on hotwire since you can add children on search field it's sure but with priceline since it's meant for max 2 people there maybe surcharges.  does anyone know if this is still the case now? same with priceline express?  my travel plans are 2 adults, 1 year old and 3 year old. so 4 of us. so in my case, i'm better off going with hotwire rather then priceline and priceline/express?

hi, I have few questions. 

when i go straight to hotwire and do search in punta cana. i see a 4* punta cana, bavaro all inclusive.  dec. 6-13 at CAD$95. shows 25% recommended.

when i go to biddinghelper. this result does not show up for some reason. interested to know why it doesn't show.can someone know which property this might be? couldn't get ful list of ammenities since not listed.

there is no mention about food and drinks included.  can i assume that if on priceline and hotwire it says all inclusive taht all meals and drinks are covered? also,  to be on safe side, they would cover for  all 2 adults and 2 childrean?

thanks.  i didn't notice the 4* when i looked at it. the 3.5* seemed to be cheap and liked that it included breakfast.  preference was in old montreal and didn't find anything. i just checked now and there is one 4* with breakfast for $89.

would you be able to know this one?

got it on first try.  i think i should have started lower as i had 2 rebidding zones available but it's a good price.  some negative reviews about this hotel on tripdavisor but hopefully it's not bad.

tks for info.  this time, i'm hotel specific to novotel in vaughn so with uncertaintiy, i think i will go with PRICELINE on markham zone as my next alternative.  will share win later if i bid.

i am hoping to get novotel north york but i don't think they an outdoor pool and i haven't seen any wins shared for years....

all the previous win shares list this hotel as toronto (north york -east) but on price line, there is no zone.  this hotel falls in the area of toronto east -don valley

i started low bid as i knew there are many re-bidding zones. 

didn't see this before. sorry.

got ramada seoul 4* on priceline in march.

hotel was ok. normally i get the intercontinental coex 5* but wanted something cheaper this time...

bid $60 on 3*, rejected, added 2.5* and got it.  i've been bidding for few days at this level and got it today.  looking forward to it as it shows #1 hotel on trip advisor.  often times i  got the hyatt place/sierra house before so will see if this one is better.  

was pleased with result as I have stayed at this hotel through priceline before and remember that they also served free breakfast.  BUT...

during bidding process, i'm fairly certain that I started with 3.5* as I start with higher rating and also wanted the free breakfast for this category that was included as one of the ammenities.  if I don't get, then I go down the star rating if rejected. also, I remember staying there  before and getting it as 3.5* with breakfast AND others posted this hotel as 3.5*. 

when I went to hotel, ate breakfast, hotel charged me for the breakfast.  they said it was not included....

I called priceline to let them know that it was billed to me and that it was not included as amenity, I questioned it saying it was part of the description before I bid on the 3.5*.  they told me that I was wrong and that this hotel was 3* to them so would not include breakfast.  I told them that I was certain I bid on 3.5 with breakfast but they told me to look at my contract and there I could see that double tree was shown as 3*.

I questioned that maybe there is problem with priceline system where before bidding, I put in 3.5* but outcome gave me 3*. they don't think that's the case.  I may have made mistake and clicked 3* like they said but I highly doubt it.  I usually start with higher rating and work star rating down. and I also checked the forum before bidding and saw double tree....I don't think they would want to acknowledge this if it's true... but  really think that something went wrong in priceline system and it was not my error.

called customer service and told me to talk to customer care team.  they did not do anything regarding breakfast reimbursement and explaining to me why the double tree is now listed as 3* where as all the other websites has it as 3.5* and also, past winnings on priceline was 3.5*....

i asked to escalate and they told me to write them a letter if i wanted to pursue further...

i'm not really concerned about the breakfast cost but was upset at the way they handled my claim....

any thoughts? suggestions? did this happen to anyone else?

bid $50, rejected but asked to increase by $10. I rebid $55 by adding other zones and got it. hotel does charge $14 parking...
