Ok, I just replied to the SF hotel thread. I didn't know if you wanted to me to say I didn't go through PRICELINE. I am not sure of the dates yet (maybe mid November), and would like to spend about $115 for the room at the Sheraton. Just wondering if you choose 4* if the Sheraton will be the hotel you get most likely?
Thanks!
Teresa
I ended up just getting a room at the Hilton San Francisco directly.
Hello,
I was wondering if it's a guarantee you will get the Carlsbad Sheraton if you choose 4* in the Carlsbad Priceline section (since it is the only 4* listed in your hotels in that area)? If not a guarantee, is there a really high chance it will be the hotel you will get?
Thanks!
Teresa
Went through all the steps and didn't get accepted. Any ideas?
Thx!
Ok, thank you. I will let you know how it goes!
I would pay more for the USW zone.
Thanks!
Ok, great! I would like to stay in the following districts:
Fishermans Wharf
Japan Town
Marina
Union Square East
Union Square West (most preferable)
Financial District - Embarcadero (least preferable)
My goal is to get the cheapest price for 3.5-4*'s.
Hope this answers all of your questions. Thank you for the help!
Hello,
We are going to SF July 31st - August 2nd and would like to pay $200 and under. Is there a neighborhood that we should look in for the best deal (in SF city not outskirts)? Also, is there a time that is best to start looking for the best deal (like 2 weeks before etc).
Thank you for any info!
Just to let you know there's a treasure island music festival that weekend (9/20 and 9/21).
Hopefully, that won't have too much affect on the hotel prices.

Kind of a bummer but just thought I should let the board know that the hilton waterfront says this on their front page:
Our pool & spa will be closed April 20 - May 5, 2008. For your convenience, another option is available within walking distance; please inquire with our concierge.
Carlsbad Sheraton only 4 star hotel
