My wife is using these rooms for an engagement party. We've stayed here before and the place is really nice. Good downtown location right next to the T. Couldn't be happier.

  2. Trying to get 3 nights close to Virginia Beach. Specific hotel goal of Courtyard Virginia Beach 3* in the Virginia Beach Pembroke area.

Bid 5: Added Chesapeake (Churchland - Suffolk) $75 ACCEPTED Sheraton Norfolk Waterside

    Subtotal: $225

    Taxes/Fees: $43.48

    Total: $268.48

Hotel Internet rate of approx $160.00 fo 3 night savings of $212.00

While Norfolk isn't very close to Virginia Beach, I think we'll be happy being in a city next to the huge MacAurther center mall and shops. I had previously tried to win hotels 3* and above in the Virginia Beach Area zone exclusively, but found no luck bidding up to $100.00. That wasn't surprising, as its peak season and even a 2* can demand $200 rates per night. While I was pretty close to biting the bullet and booking the Holiday inn Surfside (@$210), my hotel cheapness took over when I thought about how I could spend the $400 savings.

Used the PRICELINE link of course!
