OK...I see a price of $215.00 4star rating, dates of travel are 5/28 - 5/31/2011, amenities are RESORT, NEAR BEACH, FITNESS,POOL, RESTAURANT, BUSINESS CENTER, LAUNDRY, HIGH SPEED INTERNET, GOLF NEARBY

I am guessing that is the Crowne Plaza. I tried 1 adult 2 kids, 2 adults 0 kids, 2 adults 2 kids..That is the only 4 star that comes up each time!

The Crowne is CONSIDERED beach front as you can see the beach but you have to walk to a concrete trail and then walk the trail to get to the beach...I would say the total walk frm door to beach is 1/3 miles..not bad but when carrying alot of stuff and kids its a pain....unlike just walking out the back door at the Mariott and Westin. I will post the rates and amenities as requested in a minute.

I have tried priceline for months now. Every year I use priceline to book our rooms in hilton head for these same dates (memorial weekend). Have been rejected and went as high as 150.00. I REALLY want to stay at the Mriott beach and Golf resort OR the Westin. The crowne is ok but the walk is a bit far to the beach.

SO NOW I AM GOING TO GIVE HOTWIRE a shot. Looking for advice on grabbing the Weston or the Marriott Beach and Golf resort.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I did get the holiday inn on Royal street. Good deal since it is going for 150.00

Thanks... Any suggestions on getting the bourbon? It is listed on the hotel list

Hotwire has a 3* listed in FQ for 69.00. The amenities are Fitness, Swimming, Dining, Laundry and High Speed Internet. I really want to stay at the Bourbon but it's not worth the 170.00 they are trying to charge. Especially since I am getting four rooms.

Any chance this is it?

Had a decent amount of time so I started the bidding at 59.00 for a resort. I got rejected on all the bids until finally being accepted for 100.00 a night.

I got the Mariott's Hilton Head Beach and Golf Resort. The price given by Mariott is about 300.00 a night so I feel I got a good deal!
