Friend just got this. Seems to be a pretty common win at this price during these days as I see someone else got the same.

Yeah, I wasn't sure if they redid the zones, but I saw the other people who won previously had (Shrewsbury-Westborough) in the title so I assumed that Shrewsbury wasn't a distinct zone before. Is this assumption correct?

Used the Betterbidding PRICELINE link. Started at $40, rejected, went up to $45 (using Shrewsbury rebid zone) and got the Courtyard Marriott Westborough. Seems like a decent enough place.

Just an FYI, Westborough-Marlborough is now three different zones.

Marlborough - Hudson

Shrewsbury - Northborough

Westborough

Then did extend a stay to Monday to connect with the other reservation (I'm arriving later). Pretty happy with what I got. There's a few conventions going on at Moscone so I was worried about getting a room for a decent price.

I do have a question about Extend a Stay. Having never done this before, do they make you change rooms and or check-out/in? Also, normally, is the Extend a Stay guaranteed if you attempt it? I selected the above dates initially since I was having trouble getting the full 6 days at the above price (bid sequence was the same) using the fact I had another reservation that I could extend either this one or the other one into the three day gap. Looking back now, I'm wondering if that was risky.

My SO did this and being a Priceline newbie, she didn't quite understand what I trying to explain about rebid zones. Ended up getting this hotel for the four night stay. Not sure what her bid sequence was. Just thought I'd let you know. See my other post for info about the other bid.
