  1. Even though we live here in Honolulu my boy enjoys staying here. We try to stay here at least two or three times during the year. Truly one of the best bargains in all of Waikiki if not all of Hawaii.

I pretty much ran through most of the various areas in my rebidding process. I guess you can see the recovery in Waikiki happening because there are no rooms available anymore for under $90! But even $110 here is a decent deal.

    My dates were 11/26 - 11/28.

I did use the PRICELINE link to process my bid.

    Thanks!

  2. I'd stay at the Holiday Inn Express over the Tuscan Inn. Much, much better value. The Tuscan is quaint but not worth it. Stayed there once and I wouldn't stay there again given that you have choices like the Hyatt or Holiday Inn nearby at similar prices.

The breakfast at the Holiday Inn is pretty good. I believe they have yogurt and fruit but your best bet is to call and check.

Oh yeah, $145 is fairly high for the Holiday Inn. See if you can hold out for something under $100. Again, it depends when you want to stay, though.

    Good luck

  3. This place rocks!!!

First time user and first time bidder on Priceline, a total newbie! I don't know why I haven't used Priceline sooner especially since I've been traveling to SF at least twice a year for the past six years!!! :)

    Regardless, I'm sold.

I guess I was a bit afraid since, if I'm not mistaken, picking the USE Embarcadero area 4* can possibly nab you two other hotels. Not bad ones but I really wanted the Grand Hyatt and luckily got it!

One thing I don't quite understand is why everyone seems to go with one night and then adds nights? I just choose the full stay to begin with. What the heck?

    Thanks again!!! :)
