However since the only area I selected was the airport, I had the option to bid again immediately if I chose an additional location. I'm traveling to the DC area for 6 nights from 12/22 to 12/28 with my family (2 adults, 2 kids). I've never used priceline. I'd like to bid to stay at the Residence Inn which is one of the priceline hotels in Alexandria. I really want one of the 2 bedroom suites, but as I understand it priceline only guarantees double occupancy. Would it be advisable to bid on 2 rooms, and then contact the hotel to see if I could trade them for a 2 bdrm suite?
