The hotel and I were both on the phone with Priceline, separately, and both hung up after 1-hour on hold. The lady helping me came back and asked me to continue holding about 30 minutes in.
The Hilton gave us a room and said they hope someone doesn't show for their reservation tonight.
Yes, the hotel says it's not a valid confirmation number from Priceline. I've been on hold with Priceline for 20 minutes.
The Hilton says they're sold out and can't give us a room.
Hello, I just wanted to let you know that we're at the Hilton in Santa Fe and they're saying they don't have a reservation for us. They called Priceline and aren't getting a response.
This is the second time this has happened. Now we're spending our day in the hotel trying to figure out where we're going to stay.
Can someone please assist us?
Thank you! We booked and got the Hilton Santa Fe for $129/night!
Hello, I'm looking at 2 nights in Santa Fe 4/27-4/29, 4* for $126/night on Priceline. Thank you!

Hello,
We ended up booking a Groupon deal for a South Beach hotel.
Thank you!
We ended up not going to Louisville, so no hotel was booked.
Do you have an opinion on staying in downtown Miami or SOBE?
I also am going to book La Concha in Key West for 3 nights... Can I book it through your site and use your 5% off coupon for Priceline? Do you need to send me a link for it?
Thank you!
We are flying in and want a day to see Miami before driving to the Keys. We hope to explore the city (the Wynwood Walls, Calle Ocho, and SOBE) and get some good food and drinks while we're there. Not so much to party since we'll be meeting friends in Key West for the weekend.
One of our friend's suggested the Clevelender and another suggested staying in Brickell. We're laid back and flexible with plans. Thanks!!
Hello -
I see this Priceline deal... my husband and I will have 1x night in Miami before driving to the Keys... We don't know the city at all. Someone suggested we look at the Clevelender in SOBE. Thank you again for your great help!

I just got off the phone with Hotwire and after 45 minutes they now say they are NOT going to give me the $100 Hotwire credit. She said they can't do that and the only thing they will consider is a possible parking refund if I email the receipt. She said she will request a call transcript and evaluate it to see if the first guy actually said that he could give me a credit. Worst customer service ever.
They also tried to put the blame back on The Godfrey saying it was their mistake and I should contact them for compensation.
Thank you for the helpful advice!
I will let you know.
Hello,
I just returned from my weekend with my mother and sister in Chicago and wanted to update you on our hotel.
As shared above, we were booked for a room for 3-guests at The Godfrey. When we arrived The Godfrey informed us they only had a room with 1-bed available and that they couldn't do anything to help us because they were sold out. They referred us to Hotwire, saying it was Hotwire's fault since we booked through them. Hotwire was awful. No joke, the solution from Hotwire was that one of us slept on the floor and they would give us a $50 credit to use on Hotwire at a later date.
After I told Franz at Hotwire that one of us sleeping on the floor wasn't an acceptable solution, he continued to tell me that all the hotels were sold out. I was on the phone with Hotwire for about 40 mins when he found a room at the Omni that had a pull out couch as the 2nd bed option and was only a 10 minute walk. I told Franz we had already booked a non-refundable parking spot near The Godfrey and it was pouring rain. He said as a compensation Hotwire would pay the price difference for the hotel room and suggested they were doing us a favor by finding us a new room! He couldn't have cared less about the Hotwire Guarantee or any customer service. He refused to give us any refund or even pay for parking at the new hotel.
I just wanted to follow up with you about our situation. Thank you for your help, and hopefully this was a rare mistake for Hotwire and they will be willing to help follow through on their guarantee when I share this experience with them.
I just booked through your HOTWIRE link and got The Godfrey Hotel!
Thank you again for your awesome help with our trip!!
I think we want to go for the Viceroy... Do I just access Hotwire via the link in this thread?
Do you think they will accommodate 2 beds if I call and ask?
Thank you
One room with 2-beds. It will be me, my sister, and my mother.
Thank you!
Let's try a 4 star hotel up to our maximum budget, then if rejected try for a 3.5*. We can go up to $160/per night.
My mother is coming and is somewhat limited in walking, so paying a little more for a centralized location is fine. We'll keep the Viceroy option in mind though.
Great, thank you!
We are looking for a 3* or 4*, max budget of $150 per night. Any bidding advice would be appreciated!
Hello,
I'm looking for a hotel room in Chicago for July 21-23. I am going to "name own price" on Priceline. Could you please advise on which zones are most desirable between Priceline zones 1-4?
Thank you!
I just booked the Even Hotel MTE, using the PRICELINE EXPRESS link you provided. The total for 2 rooms/3 nights was $1,249.
Thank you for your help with our booking!!

Thank you for your timely responses. That was helpful.
Priceline said it was Hilton's mistake, Hilton said it was Priceline's. Either way, we're settled in and enjoying Santa Fe.
