We ended up buying a week from someone who was in the Disney Vacation Club so we ended up not booking through Hot.wire/Price.line. But thank you! Love this site!
We ended up not doing this stay.
Says 100% recommended, amenities listed:
Business center Fitness center Free Internet Pet friendly Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Self-service laundry Spa services
The only one I can figure out that is 4* and might have "spa services" is the Houston Mariott Medical Center, because on hotels.com it says it offers "in-room massages".
Otherwise, the only other one in that area (I think) is Zaza, which is 4 1/2 *.
We really want to be able to walk to the hospital - would love help! Thank you!
It says it's usually $259 and on HOTWIRE it's $185.
Love this site! Yet again, I could guess which hotel this was. Clicked through to HOTWIRE from y'all.
Not my ideal hotel, but nice enough and will fit the bill. In town for a family member's wedding. I did notice that when I researched the hotel, some of the rooms had Murphy beds, which is a neat option, but made me nervous for my tall hubby! I called the hotel directly and those aren't standard rooms, and they said those wouldn't be Hot.wire rooms. The standard rooms are either 2 queen or one king. I put in a request for a king.
Thanks!
Kelly
Okay - I went ahead and booked:
Hilton Suites Chicago Magnificent Mile
Not THAT great of a deal - could have gotten $99 on their website, but happy nonetheless.
But still happy to be in a location close to the action.
Thanks!
Kelly
It didn't seem to match up with any in the list on better bidding..... would love any guesses! I think I'm going to book regardless - going for a Dr's appt. for my son on Jan 28th in Naperville, but going early Sunday (the day before) so we can hit the Field Museum and maybe the aquarium and have some fun!
Thanks,
Kelly (I love this website - y'all have helped me so many times!)

I went ahead and pulled the trigger. Clicked through from this site. :)
It ended up being the HYATT house Chicago/Naperville/Warrenville - it looks new and nice? I'm happy with the result.
Thanks!
Kelly :D
Traveling for a doctor's appt for my son next week - doc is in Naperville.
On Hotwire, I have 2 options:
---1---
3 1/2 Stars - $64/night - 90% of travelers recommend, (guessing this is Hilton, Hyatt or Windham)
Amenities:
or
---2---
3 Stars - $69 night - but 100% of travelers recommend (thinking this might be Holiday Inn, Residence or Marriott)
Amenities:
***** Am I missing something? *** I hate to pass up a 1/2 star rating, but even though it's a little cheaper, I'm thinking the free breakfast overrules that? Plus if 100% of travelers like it better?
Would love an opinion.
Thanks again, Better Bidding! So grateful for this site!!!
Best,
Kelly
First bid today and I got it! Sort of surprised. I think $95 is a pretty good rate for this 4* in Austin, and the pool looks pretty nice for my kiddos. :)
Used your PRICELINE link above. :)
Thanks again, Better Bidding, for your help!
Kelly
Was looking for oceanfront hotel near Dr's office in Melbourne, FL - got it on first bid on PRICELINE! (after clicking through from here)
A bit surprised they took my first bid - sounds like I got a good deal! Fun for my 8 year old son.
Hooray!
Thanks for all the help here on this board!
Best,
Kelly
Here are the amenities:
4-star hotel in Dallas North - Galleria

- Business Center
- High-speed Internet Access
Can you help me narrow down the choices??? Thanks!!!
If this helps, it says 100% of Hotwire customer recommend this hotel - but I can't find one in "packages" that has 100% satisfaction in the Galleria area w/ 4 stars.....
Oops - forgot to put dates: Jan 28-30 - Price $59.
Nevermind - found it - I think it's the Sheraton Suites. Not what I wanted. Thanks!
Need help identifying this hotel - can't seem to match it up on the list.... thanks!

This hotel features the following amenities:

And to clarify.... it's called "SeaWorld - I-drive South Area Condo"
Listed in Hotwire w/ the following amenities
4 star
Condo, Resort, 1 Bedroom, Non-smoking, Free Parking, A/C, Laundry, Children's activities.....
It's a mystery for $83/night in February.
This would be the 3rd or 4th time I've used you guys for help on bidding - so THANK YOU! I'll be sure to clink through with your link.
Thank you Better Bidding!!
Kelly
First bid $50, was rejected, then bid $60 and got it. Hope it's nice.... I'm just there with my son for a Dr's appt.
Thanks again Better Bidding - this is the 3rd time I've followed your advice (and clicked through your link) and got a great deal!
Kelly
Hooray! I'm so excited! What a steal! :)
Nevermind! I took a risk and tried through your link to PRICELINE and got the Hyatt Regency Hill Country for $75!! wahoo!!! So happy.
Yet again - thanks SO much for the help and info!
Kelly
I know it's either the Radisson HIll Country or the Hyatt Hill Country - hoping for Hyatt -
Both hotels seem to have the same amenities on the hotel list on this board - but when I searched for a vacation package that weekend on Hotels.com, only the Hyatt was listed - and not the Radisson. Would that mean it's likely the Hyatt that's on the "blind" hotel only list?
Thanks!
Kelly (several time user of this board - thanks!)

4-star hotel in Sea World - Hill Country area
You'll never believe it!!! Hotwire customer service actually refunded my first reservation and re-booked it for the next weekend, and I ended up at the same hotel for only a couple of dollars more. I was SHOCKED! Hooray! The guy said he'd make a one-time exception to their strict no-refund policy, since it was just an innocent mistake. :) It might have helped that I'd booked through HOTWIRE before - who knows.
Yea!!!!! Thought I'd share the good news!!!!
Kelly
I'm so stupid!!!!!!!!!!!! I should have double checked the dates, and I scheduled this for the WRONG weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Crap.
Of course the Hotwire site says no refunds or changes..... does anyone have any ideas??????
This is such a DUMB obvious mistake - what a dummy I am. UGH!!!! $289 down the drain!!!!!!!!!!
Kelly :) :) :o :) :D
Since I was being so particular about where to stay for this trip, and having such a hard time getting a resort like we wanted, we ended up just burning some hotel credits that my husband had from work. It was worth it - we stayed at the Westin LaCantera and it was FABULOUS!!! So fun!!! I think this must have just been a weird busy weekend for the Raddision.
Thanks sooooooo much for all the help, though!!!! This website (and the users here) are INCREDIBLE!!
I ended up deciding that I couldn't pass up a $59 suite hotel.....I'm so glad I didn't !! It was the Sheraton Suites at the Galleria - the lowest rate on the hotel website was $132!!!
Woo-hoo!!
Kelly
Oh- and I used the link from this website to HOTWIRE.com - thanks guys!!

We ended up going cheap, since we'll only be in the room to sleep. Was hoping for the Wyndham, but Holiday Inn will be fine - Trip Advisor said they just finished some renovating and it's better and cleaner than it's been in the past. We'll see! :)
