Ready to book hotel for Port Canaveral on March 24th for 1 night prior to our cruise...LOVE the new feature Best Guess. Just wondering how accurate it is? Normally I would come here and list amenities but was just going to go ahead and book since the best guess is the hotel I want.

I haven't been here in a while but this board was amazing help for me on previous trips. Just came here to start looking into my trip to Savannah...Used the hotwire easyview and LOVE that "best guess" is in there!! That is so helpful vs. coming here and pasting all the info. When did that start? Love it!! Anyway, had to come here and post my appreciation for this new feature. AND I also have to thank everyone here from my previous trips that were 100% accurate in their predictions.

i was leaning toward whitehall but neither were my first choice lol. Just to get an idea of distance...how long of a walk would it be from whitehall to the doubletree?

When I looked on the regular Hotwire site, I found one that is 4 Star and 80% recommended for $179/nite but when i look at the hotwire easy view here, I see one $179/nite but 75% recommended....is this the same one? 80% was going to be my lowest acceptable. Anyway, maybe if you can guess which it is I will like it...

Do you think these prices could go down? What I'm seeing now (of course) are kinda high compared to most of the wins I'm seeing. Not sure if it's worthwhile to sit back and watch for a few days....but I dont want them to go up either.

I really wanted 4 star but since yesterday even, prices have gone up...so im kinda waiting it out to see if they drop. In the meantime, a 3.5 star popped up that has 95% recommended that may be worthwhile. Its important for me to stay in the MM area as my older aunt has difficulty walking and we want to be right in the middle of things right out our door. Here are the specifics, if anyone can help

Also, one of the reasons I am leary of the 3.5 star is I really don't want Hotel Indigo..as it seems by map to be a little too far from Michigan Ave. Is that correct? I would rather have the MM area stray closer to River North than Gold Coast. Of course, not having been here, I could be totally wrong.
thank you! Is it unusual that its not showing in easy view (thus i cant see many of the amenities)? Im not sure about staying in the other areas. My aunt who is almost 70 has difficulty walking too much so I want to stay somewhere that will be easier for her.

I have been planning the Chicago trip for several weeks now however, i had to wait until my income taxes come in to book..so i've just been "feeling" around, trying to learn so far.
