Thanks :)
If I decide to purchase, I'll definitely use the link and let you know the result.
For March 14 - 18.
Tampa Fl, (Tampa-East Brandon).
It's a 2* hotel for $37 a night. The amenities come up as:
Kitchenette, Laundry Facilities (self-service).
Any idea what this could be?
Thanks :)
After winning two other bids for this hotel, I was looking for it specifically. $26 and $27 didn't work prior so I started with what I was hoping would be my winning bid.
I bid $28, Tampa Airport Zone and it was accepted.
I started at $27 (Tampa Airport and Brandon zones). Then went to $30 (adding Busch Gardens).
I believe I could have got this hotel for $28 as I had another bid (that I made after this one) for the same hotel in a different week that won at $28.
But, it's still a reasonable rate and I'm satisfied.
$28 for 2* Homestead Studio Suites.
It was my 2nd bid in the area. First bid was $26.
The areas I included were the Tampa Airport, Brandon, and Busch Gardens.
It wasn't my first bid, I believe it was my 3rd, although I can't remember the specifics.
It is the only luck I've had so far from Priceline in the month of March. We need a room each week and I've bid in the Tampa Zone as well as the Clearwater/St. Petersburg zone and they've all been declined except for that one bid. I believe it is likely due to a combination of spring break and baseball spring training as there are a lot of teams stationed there.
Thanks :)
I read your review! Thanks!
$45 a night, 3/21 - 3/25
Hilton - St. Petersburg
There are mixed reviews about this property, but I'm happy with it. Their website shows $149 a night, and I believe Expedia was even higher.
I bid on a 2 Star in Gainesville (January 1st). ($32)
The icons were pool and breakfast.
It is the La Quinta.
Hope that helps :)

We stayed at this hotel 3/21 - 3/25.
The positives:
The lobby was very nice. There is a bar and a restaurant. Additionally there is an on-site spa and a large pool/whirlpool.
We thought the location was great. I don't see how it could be considered unsafe. The view from our room was very nice, it was of the bay and a small airport. My children really enjoyed watching the helicopters and small planes take off!
We found all staff we encountered to be helpful and courteous.
The negatives:
I don't mind paying for parking, but I would prefer a valet option if I'm going to be charged $10 a day.
The condition of the room wasn't the best. It is definitely in need of a remodel. Mold in the bathroom, chipped drywall, worn carpet. However, we found the room to be very clean, so it was solely a cosmetic issue.
Overall, I would give this hotel a 3. It was definitely worth the $45 (plus parking) nightly rate we received on Priceline!
