I've since lost out on that one due to delaying the booking. So am back to the drawing board. This is for business, so trying to be in the MSG area for a meeting at Hotel Pennsylvania. Hoping to be under $300/night.
Have now found 4-star hotel in Times Square South with the following amenities:
Free Internet
Boutique hotel
Fitness center
Pet friendly
Restaurant(s)
Smoke-free rooms
Accessibility
Accessible for visually impaired
In-room accessibility
Prices are twin bed for $215, double bed for $223 or $248 for king bed. Thoughts on which hotel it might be? Other suggestions?
Thanks again.
Hello all,
I am in need of a room in the Madison Square Garden / Penn Station area for a 1-night stay tonight. I've looked on Hotwire, and they have two different 4-star options (not sure why?), but I am looking at one that is showing $204/217 per night (it's been varying).
Amenities listed are as follows: Free Internet, Pet friendly, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Roll-in shower.
Any ideas of what property this may be?
Thanks in advance.
Chris
Ended up using the Priceline Express deal (via the links provided above) as described and got the Intercontinental Barclay hotel at $202/night. Compared to publicly available rates, it was around a $50-75 savings.
Thanks very much for your help! We're looking forward to our stay.
You are correct - 4.5 stars. The InterContinental looks good, and we'd be happy staying there.
Is this a worthwhile rate to jump on? I coincidentally almost booked that hotel without knowing anything of it this past weekend because I saw it was publicly priced at $187/nigh, but I didn't catch it before going up. So this express deal is close but not the least I've seen the hotel. Would it be any better of an idea to try to submit a bid, and if so, how much below the express deal is recommended?
Thanks!
Hello all,
I am considering using PRICELINE EXPRESS Deals for the first time to book a hotel in the Mid-Town East section of NYC. Stated cost is for a 1-night stay on Saturday 10/1 and offers several room choices including: Premium Room ($202), King Bed - Superior Room ($202), Double Bed - Deluxe Room ($235), King Bed - Deluxe Room (235), and 1-Bedroom Suite ($519).
Stated amenities include:
- Pets Allowed
- Fitness Center
- Business Center
- Restaurant
- No smoking
Any thoughts on what hotel this is? Does this seem like a reasonable deal worth pursuing?
Thanks for any help!
