Based upon watching this forum made these decisions. Interesting ... bid was accepted only after extending my stay.
(1) Bid Toronto North for 11/20-11/22 (only 2 nights) $80 rejected
(2) Added Toronto South and rebid rejected
(3) Extended stay for 1 night to 11/23 (now 3 nights) $80 bid accepted
Up in Toronto all week with friends, but didn't want to wear out welcome hence hotel. Interesting that my bid was accepted ONLY AFTER I extended the stay an additional night.
Used your PRICELINE link. Thanks!
A nail biter .. I pulled all the winning bids from this forum to get a sense of avg and started with $75 4* North, rejected, added Downtown South, rejected, changed dates to be only Saturday/Sun, same zones, rejected, increased bid to $77, rejected, took stars down to 3* and left at $77, rejected again.
Closed browser, restarted, selected 3* for entire date range and stated $80 North, rejected, now it's getting interesting, so increased $85 and added Downtown South and got this Holiday Inn.
Was hoping to get the Courtyard and did not want the Delta (which is a bit of dump). Never been at Holiday Inn but location is fine with mixed reviewed.

Selected 3.5* ESB
$ 75 - rejected
Added MSQ
$ 95 - rejected
Added MTE
$105 accepted Grand Hyatt (touted as 4*)
Used your PRICELINE link, happy with choice, accepted price seems to be low range of what Grand Hyatt bites at
Sweating. Started at $55 for 4* Downtown, rejected, raised to $65 and include Toronto West (no 4* hotels in that area), rejected, raised to $70 included Toronto East (again no 4* hotels in that area) lowered star rating to 3* (3.5* hotel not so good in listing) and raised price (I know probably shouldn't have) to $75 and got the 4* Hilton Downtown, relatively happy.
Note: Bidding on this 48 priors to check-in. Used PRICELINE link.
Started 4* Dupont $60, incr to 4* $70 included Convention Ctr rejected, incr 4* $80 included White House rejected, lowered bid to $75 and selected 3.5*, got Hilton Washington

Took bid on initial 1 zone $170 offer. Probably should have started at $150, looked at other posting win at $180. Lesson learned, still good deal.
Used PRICELINE link from betterbidding. Thanks for your help
Tried 4* Dupont Circle for $85, bid rejected, increased bid to $95 and went down to 3 1/2* and got Hilton Washington

Used the PRICELINE link, took on first attempt, very low rate for NYC, New York hotels dead this week, perhaps should have tried a bit lower but this was a great deal.
