Thanks to the help of this board, I paid $85 + tax (total $106.55) for the 4-star Renaissance Columbus Downtown Hotel. I started bidding at $55 and bid in small increments, adding zones (the only 4-star hotels are downtown and Ohio State area), until my bid for $85 was accepted. Current price online is $159-179.
I have tickets to Dead and Company at Nationwide Arena that night, and I wanted to go ahead and get something booked. I may have been able to get a better price closer to the date, but I didn't want to wait too long.
